St Joseph Engineering College, [SJEC] Mangalore was established in 2002. They provide qualifications for Engineering, Business Administration, and Computer Application for Undergraduates and Postgraduates. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State, and is also recognized by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. COMEDK-UGET 2024 dates have been announced and the examination will be conducted on May 12, 2024.

SJEC Mangalore Admissions provides a wide variety of co-curricular activities to develop students in aspects such as leadership qualities etc. Placement cell takes responsibility for placing students in their dream companies. In the current academic year 2016-17, a total of 314 students are placed through Campus Placement Drives as of February 2016. 

St Joseph Engineering College Admissions are based on the past academic merit and scores in qualifying examinations. The college has 2380+ students, 154+ number of faculties, 6224+ Alumni, and 34+ number of Ph.D. Faculties. SJEC has recorded 98.27%, 94.32%, 94.59%, 93.23%, 98.08%, 96.98%, 95.43% passes since its establishment.
