St. Joseph Engineering College, [SJEC] Mangalore provides co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to develop their personality and impart skills of decision-making and leadership. The college has a great infrastructure with facilities like a library, hostels, sports, a gym, etc. It provides significant facilities considering the all-round development of students. Computer Centre: SJEC Mangalore campus has a Central Computer Centre (CCC) is the nerve centre of the campus network. It houses an internet browsing laboratory and a space for computing needs. The centre provides system administration and technical support, including software installation, server and desktop/laptop configuration, network monitoring and internet sharing. The server room connects the other network switches and wireless access points.

Hostels: St. Joseph Engineering College Mangalore hostel has separate accommodations for boys and girls. The college has well-ventilated rooms with single-seater and double-seaters available. Facilities like canteen, fax, phone, e-mail, banking and postal services are available in the vicinity. Medical facilities are provided in association with the nearest hospitals. SJEC Mangalore hostel facilities include a mess facility for males and females separately. It also has study halls for students.

Bus Service: SJEC Mangalore has eight buses that travel between Puttur, Surathkal, Moodbidri, and Mangalore city routes in the mornings and evenings. These bus services transport around 350 students to the college.

Library: The college has an extremely innovative, approachable, and user-friendly central library. The SJEC Mangalore library has a high-quality ambience for reflective and collaborative work and study. It has a collection of 45600 volumes. In addition, above 8000 print/online scholarly journals are used by more than 2600 members.

CCTV: The entire campus is vigilance through 233 high-definition CCTV cameras via the campus network links. It uses bulk data storage unit to store the footage of the cameras.

Canteen: The SJEC Mangalore campus area provides healthy, hygienic, and tasty food at reasonable prices. There are separate sections for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. At a time, nearly 250 students can be accommodated in the canteen.

Stationery: For the convenience of students and staff, the campus provides stationery, photocopying, and an STD service.

Dispensary: The college has a well-equipped dispensary to cater to the medical needs of students, faculty, and campus inhabitants. A campus doctor and nursing staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, a consultation room, treatment room, and nursing counter are located in the dispensary. 

Sports: The college promotes sports and has 5 grounds. The students have achieved a lot of prizes at various levels. In addition, indoor facilities like table tennis, carom, chess, etc., are available.

Gym: SJEC Mangalore facilities include a well-equipped gym for the healthy lifestyle of the students.
