Fees & Scholarships : The college75590 There is various scholarship like epass ,vidyasri ,and some other scholarship but I dint get any and iam for a middle class background so it's bit difficult for my parents but still they manage 10 /class of 50 Loans are unaffordable ..the interest is high anyway there is an option for arivu loan
Academics & Faculty : Class timings 9-5 usually it'll wind up at 4 Exams we have 3 internals for 30 marks We have 2 assignment and one seminar Quality of teaching is good ..but depends on teacher to teacher Overall experience is great a quality educational institution in Bengaluru.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is 2 hostel inside the campus separate for boys and girls Pgs are there outside with rent of 7 k /month We have quality canteen and a cafeteria it's costly but food is good It's cost 50 / meal Classroom is well equipped with all facilities, we have smart class facility too WiFi is available and we have a really good ground.
Clubs & Associations : There are many student society like nss, automotive club, atv club,solar car club ,aviation club , photography club, chemistry club etc many more.. Festivals and programs are fun here in our campus we have Milan which is a cultural confluvenza ,and many fest respected to each department ..we have a major fest called tiara ...sports day.....and a vibrant college day The life in college in fun with daily learning

Placements & Internships : I done my internship in Zyper Technology ptd, which is in Mangalore according to the VTU standards. I did it in Android application. Key companies that visits this college is wipro, VMWare. Average salary is around 3 lpa. Highest package is around 7 lpa. This college as a Alumini network which keeps a program called 'Nostos' for Alumini's every year.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took COMED-K entrance exam. My rank was around 25k and I got the seat in computer Science and Engineering in first round since I got seat in Christian quota.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 1 lakh 20 thousand. Which varies 5-10 thousand every year. I got the merit cum means scholarship which is given by the government. If you are a minority and from Karnataka state, there is a high chance of getting this scholarship. For 4 years, if you are from COMED-K seat it will around 5 lacks to complete your course. Plus hostel fees extra. So yes, the loan is necessary. The process is easily given by the college.
Academics & Faculty : Working hour start from morning 9 to evening 5. For final year, there will be afternoon classes to complete the project. Teaching depends upon the faculty. Most of them are average in teaching with traditional techniques. But few are vast in their knowledge and uses modern methods. College is strict and they focus more on academics.
Clubs & Associations : Clubs in this college is according to your course. For CSE you have Computer Society of India. Christmas is the main festival on this campus. Along with that, we have Milan, a trinity of Nativity of Marry, Onam and Krishna Jayanthi. College is strict along with that they give a chance to many cultural activities.

Placements & Internships : I was offered a full-time job from IBM Bangalore through campus hiring. I did not take that opportunity because it was completely BPO call center based job. I had attended 5 key companies interview throughout my campus hiring period, those are TCS, IBM, L&T, Decathlon, and WIPRO. Average salary estimation is INR 6,00,000/year. Alumni's are connected through the social website of our college. we get notified for every campus activities organized in college and also we are vibrated through emails from college administration block about any happy occasions or in need of any help throughout the country.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Any graduate who has passed out with the minimum percentage of 60 from any in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply. PGCET and KMAT is a gateway for admission to first or second year (Lateral entry full-time postgraduate degree course in MCA. It is a state level entrance exam. The admissions are offered on the basis of PGCET and KMAT score. I took up CMAT entrance and I got admission through management quota. The cut-off was above 60 percent.
Fees & Scholarships : St Joseph Engineering College, [SJEC] Mangalore Management Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1,15,000 per year. Students who get admitted through PGCET entrance exam are provided with the concession of 40% of their annual fee. For majority community students are provided with the private scholarships such as Jindal and National scholarship portal. Students who have graduated with 60 percent minimum aggregate marks are applicable for a scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : My daily routine starts from 9 am to 5 pm (Including lunch break). Every day we have a practical lab hour after the lunch break. Projects and assignments are taken care during lab hour itself. Quality of teaching is excellent. professors are very understanding of any topics they talk about. Method of teaching is innovative as well as traditional. Overall experience was amazing and it was a very professional way. With the guidance of the college principal, we learn the discipline and corporate behavior inside the college campus itself.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 separate hostels for both male and female. The infrastructure of hostels includes Air condition rooms with separate bathroom and indoor games facility is available with wifi and common kitchen. PGs outside the college vary from luxury to medium class rooms. Normally they cost 10k per month. We have a seperate food department inside the college campus and a snack canteen too. breakfast is basically served in the south Indian style and for lunch, there are both the options for vegetarian and nonvegetarian lovers. per meal, it cost around 50 rupees. Classrooms are decorated with bright focus lights and push back chairs. Also includes Air Con, Mark white Board And Projector installed.
Clubs & Associations : There are various student clubs and associations which includes Fine Arts, Sports Club, Fest forum, Yoga and Fitness, and Cultural Group. The main festivals include TIARA, JOSHIANA, TEC TALENT, SYMGA for various department. Comparatively academic it was same as other engineering colleges but it was fun being with friends around the eco-green student square campus.

Placements & Internships : I have not done any internship during my course at St Joseph Engineering College, but there are students who do an internship during the 6th-semester project work. Many IT companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc come for the campus placements and hire a huge amount of students every year from St Joseph Engineering College. The average salary these companies provide for the selected candidates is around 3 lac to 4 lac per annum. St Joseph Engineering College has a great Alumni network. Every year there will be Alumni meet at the college where more than 500 Alumni comes for the meet.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for Master Of Computer Application at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore is that the candidate must at least have 60% in the Bachelors degree, the candidate must be from the background of Computers or IT ie., BCA, BSC (Computer Science) or BCOM (Computer Science), candidate should write the competitive entrance exams like CMAT, KMAT, etc. I got admission through KMAT that is the management seat. The candidate who wants to get admission through KMAT must have ranked below 20000.
Fees & Scholarships : St Joseph Engineering College, [SJEC] Mangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,00,000 per year. Students who get admission through scholarship quota have to pay a fee of around 60-70 thousand rupees per year. There is a separate quota for Catholic and the fee is less for that quota. Students can also take an educational loan from a bank and pay the fees yearly.
Academics & Faculty : As college is the second home for all the students around the globe, St Joseph Engineering College made me feel like home. The faculty of Master of Computer Application at St Joseph Engineering College are very friendly and guide you well during the course. Each lecturer is well versed at the subject he teaches. The classes starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM from Monday to Friday. On Saturday the classes end at 1 PM. The faculty are very strict about the timmings and strict action will be taken for the late arrivals. The assignments are given every week per subject and there are 3 projects in MCA during the course of 3 years. As I said the college made me feel like home and the faculties were my guides as well as friends
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : St Joseph Engineering College has got huge infrastructure. The departments are spread over a few acres of land. It is always cool inside the campus as there are trees and plants across the campus. The hostel and canteen are inside the campus itself. There are hostels separate for boys and girls. I was staying in the hostel, but as I heard from my friends from the hostel that the food is good at the hostel. They provide non-veg too on a couple of days. The hostel day at St Joseph Engineering College is celebrated once a year. The average cost of hostel per year is 25000 rupees per year including 3-time meal. There is a total of 3 canteens in the campus of St Joseph Engineering College. One canteen serves only snacks, tea, coffee, and cold drinks. There are two other canteens which provide veg and non-veg food separately. The cost of food for one time comes around 50-60 rupees. The food at all these canteens is of good quality and decent taste. The classes at St Joseph Engineering College are very spacious and well ventilated. For MCA there are 4 labs which are well equipped. St Joseph Engineering College has a huge library and there are enough books for all the students. Wi-Fi signal is available throughout the campus, but the student has to pay 100 rupees/year. There is a student square, where students relax during their free time.
Clubs & Associations : St Joseph Engineering College has lots of clubs and societies for the students. Each department has a minimum of 2 clubs, where students of other departments are also invited to join. Apart from the clubs and societies, St Joseph Engineering College also conducts fests for each department. The sports day is conducted every year and even students who are not interested in sports are encouraged to take part in. The Annual Day is the best day at the St Joseph Engineering College. I had a great time of my life at St Joseph Engineering College. Even though there were ups and downs during my 3 years course MCA, St Joseph Engineering College always made me forget those downs.

Selection is based on the merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination and Entrance test marks. Selection and admission will be provisional and is subject to the norms prescribed by AICTE, VTU, and Government of Karnataka. The candidates who meet the qualification are required to appear for entrance test and interview to be conducted at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor Mangalore or any other place specified by the college, the exact date of which will be intimated.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee varies depending on the branch and the year. My fee per year is about INR 1,60,000 (civil branch) and branches like mechanical and computer science fee is about 2,20,000rs (only for people who come through management) Scholarship depends upon the students cast and I get almost INR 45,000 as scholarship per year Almost 75% students get a scholarship in our college.
Academics & Faculty : College starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm normally. There is an interval at 10:50 am to 11:10 am and lunch break is at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Teaching is good. Not all the teachers are good, almost all are good except few. It's good but studies are being given a lot of attention more than anything else so it's hard for us to always be in such environment.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostel is good it's a 7-floor building and the fee over there is INR 2,500 per month Food if the hostel is good. Classrooms and labs are always clean and the environment of the college is the best.
