  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.

B.D.S
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.
  • It is mandatory to qualify and apply for NEET-UG and registration for All India counselling.
B.Sc. ( Medical Imaging Technology / Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology / BioMedical Science)
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.Preference for candidates with more than 60% marks in the optional subjects.
B.Sc (Respiratory Therapy)
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.
B.Pharm
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics/ Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12. Students with more than 70% marks in all the subjects are preferred.
BPT
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 40% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with English being one of the languages of study in class 12, and the pass in class 12 or equivalent examination approved by Nitte (Deemed to be University)
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
B.A
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% in aggregate and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
M.A
  • Candidate has to provide a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university, with a minimum of 50% marks.
B.Sc Nursing
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study in class 12.
  • The candidate must should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
B.Arch
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and also 50% marks in aggregate in class 12 (OR) a candidate must have passed a 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
GNM (Nursing)
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 40% marks from any recognized board in class 12. However, Science is preferred. Eligibility also open to candidates from State Open school recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government and Vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidate should be registered ANM having passed in all subjects.
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. 
D.Pharm
  • Candidate has to pass class 12 examination in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
M.D.
  • Candidates have to pass MBBS from a recognized medical college with permanent registration of any State Medical Council.
  • They should also be NEET-PG qualified.
  • Admission open to both General and NRI category seats in MD, MS is based on inter-se merit in NEET-PG
M.Ch (Urology)
  • Candidates must possess a recognized degree of MS (or its equivalent recognized degree) in the subject specified in the regulations of the Medical Council of India.
MPH / MHAHSM
  • Candidate must be a graduate in Health Sciences - MBBS, BDS, BVSc, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPharm, BPT, BSc (N), PB BSc (N), BPH, Paramedical Sciences - BSc (MIT), BSc (A&OTT), BSc (MLT), BSc (RT), BSc in Biomedical Science, Veterinary Science, Natural Sciences (any life science), Social Sciences & Social Work, Engineering including Environmental Engineering, Management, Commerce, Humanities or any other degree equivalent thereto, from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
 M.Sc (Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology)
  • The candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree of minimum of 3.5 years duration in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, recognized as equivalent by Nitte University, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
M.Sc MLT ( Haematology and Blood Transfusion)
  • Candidates must have a recognised degree of B.Sc (MLT) of 3 1/2 years duration, including six months duration internship from a recognised Indian University or a degree recognised equivalent by Nitte (Deemed to be University) and with at least 50% aggregate marks.(aggregate of all years).
M.Sc (Medical Imaging Technology)
  • Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree of minimum of 3.5 years duration in Medical Imaging Technology / Radiography Technology, recognized as equivalent by Nitte University, with at least 50% aggregate marks
MDS
  • Candidates have to pass in BDS with permanent registration of any State Dental Council.
M.Sc Nursing
  • Candidates have to pass in B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a college recognised by INC securing at least 55% marks in aggregate. Candidate should be a registered Nurse / Midwife. Essential to have 1 year of experience from the date of registration.
Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)
  • Candidate has to pass in B.Pharm from a college recognised by PCI.
MPT
  • Candidates with BSc (PT) or BPT degree  from a recognized university, obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Sc (Biomedical Science / Biotechnology/ Microbiology)
  • Candidates with three years of Bachelor’s degree in any of the Basic/Applied Biological Sciences: Biomedical/Bioscience/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Agricultural Sciences/Food and Nutrition/Environmental Science/Veterinary Science/Fisheries Science/Medical Imaging Technology/Operation Theatre Technology/Medical Lab Technology/BE-Biotechnology/B Tech in Biotechnology /Medical/Dental/Pharmacy and any other equivalent life science degrees of any Board/University or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Sc. Marine Biotechnology
  • Candidates are selected through a National Level Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) for all Biotechnology related courses in the country. The selection of students will be based on merit in GAT-B.
Post basic B.Sc Nursing
  • Candidate has to be a registered nurse (RN & RM) or equivalent.

Nitte University Admissions

For admissions in Nitte University, candidates who are meeting the necessary criteria for the respective courses can fill the applications. Nitte University Hostel Details

The Nitte University hostel is located on campus, and it is very close to the hospital and the college. Brief infrastructure details of the hostel facilities are listed below :

  • The hostel fee to be paid at the time of admission includes the caution deposit, mess advance and the room rent.
