Nitte University, [NU] Mangalore spread over 50 acres. This university is approved by NAAC, NBA. NU ensures the safety of the student as well as looks after their welfare and requirements.

NU Campus Highlights

NU is acknowledged for its campus and residential facilities. Some of the highlighting features of the NU campus are listed below.

• NU organises different types of seminars, counselling seasons, conferences for the betterment of students.
• Sports competitions in inter or intra college are held on the campus or out of the campus.
• Many motivational speakers and famous personalities are called for the seasons and programmes by the college.
• There are many clubs associated with institutes such as debating, dancing, singing, skating, enactment and many more options are available for students who have interests in different areas.
• Freshers, Convocation, Farewell, Youth festival, Educational Trips and so on are organised by the college.  

NU Campus Facilities

The NU has a wide range of facilities provided to students. Some of these are mentioned below:

Classrooms: Well organised and furnished classrooms and digital boards are installed in every class to make sure a student must have a  better learning experience.

Library: The library has a collection of 82317 volumes of text (31 March 2018) and reference books, 1300+ e-journals and 242 Technical Journals (in print) both national and international. The total area of the library is 31000sft and accommodates 750 students at a time. A well-furnished Audio/Visual centre provides all sorts of self-study digital sources.

Hostel: The hostellers are provided with a cot, cupboard, study table and chair. Every hostel has solar water heaters, a WiFi facility, a common telephone, a TV room, a reading room, a visitors lounge, water coolers, generators, 24x7 security and surveillance cameras. AC rooms are available in some of the hostels. The hostels also have facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
