GMIT is located in Bharathinagar,Mandya, Karnataka which is a near to district Head Quarters, at a distance of about 90 km from Banglore on SH-17 . It has salubrious climate similar to that of Banglore. The district is famous for many historical and tourist places.

• Spread over 25 acres of tranquil landscape, which houses lecture halls, library, laboratory, workshops, seminar halls, canteen and residential complex.

• The lecture halls are designed to be spacious as per AICTE norms.

• The academic block provides ultra modern laboratories for basic sciences, Electronics and workshops for mechanical engineering and Civil engineering.

• Latest equipments are added to the laboratories to give exposure to the students about state- of-the-art technology.

• High-end hardware systems with modern computing facilities are available to meet project requirements and encourage research activities.

Library: 

The GMIT has a Central Library and 5 departmental libraries which collectively support the learning, teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities offers library services through its various Divisions.

Sports & Cultural: 

GMIT always tries to maintain a high standard of ethical and moral values in student community. It is a very important aim of GMIT that the student be trained morally, culturally and ethically to be on the right side of every aspect.

GMIT conducts Parent's Day, Fresher's Day, College Day, Sports Day etc every year. All these programs are sponsored and organized by the management.

With the objective of imparting a holistic perspective to professional higher education, a “G’TECH” has been created in college and has been functioning effectively every year. The G’TECH intends to create an atmosphere, which is intellectually and aesthetically stimulating for the community on the campus.

Hostels: 

GMIT and BET Group offers a separate hostels for Boys and Girls with well furnished rooms. We run our hostels in a green and peaceful environment which welcomes students. These hostels will accommodate more than 750 students comfortably. The hostel cleanliness comforts to ace hygiene standards. Mess facilities are also available to provide the hostlers with nutritions and quality food.

Each room in all the hostels has been furnished with cots, tables, chairs, book racks and a ceiling fan.

Parents and gaurdians of the students are being provided accomodation in guest rooms on nominal rent whenever they visit college and wish to stay during their visits. They are also permitted to use the mess facilities in the hostels.

Canteen: 

The college is equipped with a fully functional vegetarian canteen to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative in the campus.

Well furnished Canteen can accomodated 150 members at a time, having seperate accomodation for staff & students.

Internet:

Our college has a dedicated internet lab working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We give free internet access to our students. We have a dedicated 100 Mbps internet connectivity for campus and We also have a 100 Mbps BSNL 1:1 internet connectivity for Hostels. The internet can be accessed from more than 1000 computers through LAN. All the departments and the HODs have internet connectivity.
