Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are one must have a 10th pass certificate and +2 or equivalent pass certificate with biology, physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects. The entrance exam I took was the AP EAMCET exam. The cut-offs depend on the reservation. In general category, a rank preferably below 300 and definitely below 500.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee in Gandhi Medical College, [GMC] Secunderabad is Rs 15,000. Scholarships are available to certain reserved categories. An average of  5% of students gets the scholarship. Loans are rarely needed.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is hectic at Gandhi Medical College, [GMC] Secunderabad. Method of teaching includes classroom teaching with AV aids and PowerPoint presentations, bedside teaching (in hospital wards) and field visits. The overall experience is positive, vibrant and conducive to holistic and professional development.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostel facilities are not good. The quality of food is good and the cost per plate is Rs 50. Key infrastructure includes a Library (open between 8:30 AM- 8:30 PM on working days), a reading room, an e- library (open between 9:30 AM- 5:00 PM, with free Wi-Fi), canteen and faculty lounge, separate common rooms and well- equipped gyms for men and women, auditoria and facilities for a variety of sports.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs organised by student societies like the dance club, fashion club, music clubs, etc. The festivals celebrated in Gandhi Medical College, [GMC] Secunderabad is the annual fest. The college life, in general, is colourful, active and energetic.
