LIBRARY

The integrated campus has a well stocked library with over 6000 books. Students will also be able to access e-Library and various national and international Journals at the Banur campus

Library provides the following services and facilities:

Circulation: Except normal issue/return of books, the library also provides overnight loan privilege to its users for periodicals and reference books.

Reservation of Books: Books available in the library but issued to other members can be reserved in advance.
Newspaper Clipping: Informative articles and important news are scanned from daily newspapers and are filed.
Inter-Library Loan: Books not available in the Library can be borrowed on loan from other libraries of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase II, Mohali.

Book Bank: Library also provides books for the whole semester to deserving students under Book Bank facility.
Photocopying:: Library provides the photocopying service to its users at nominal charges.

Services from DELNET: Library is a member of DELNET (Developing Library Network), a registered society established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It is currently being promoted by the National Informatics Centre, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India and India International Centre, New Delhi. The Society is involved in Library Automation, Database development, Resource sharing and Networking of Libraries.

Suggestions and book recommendations: Members are free to recommend new books or journals for the library and to suggest improvement in library service. Suggestions and recommendations, duly signed can be put in the suggestion box, placed on the circulation counter.

FITNESS AND SPORTS

To encourage engineering students to put their innovations to a concrete form, Institute is having its sports club. All activities that are related to fitness is given top priority. Institute has well equipped facilities for indoor and outdoor sports activities.  Following sports facilities exist in the campus:-

• Volleyball courts
• Football
• Chess
• Cricket Ground
• Kho Kho
• Basketball Court
• Table tennis
• Indoor games facilities are also available.

HOSTEL

Hostel is self-contained with facilities such as a reading room, an indoor games room, a lounge and a dining hall with mess. There are six story hostel and lift facility is also provided to student. Computer lab as well as Gym Facilities are also available in  the hostel. Environment is very peaceful and calm for study.

COMPUTER CENTRE

Fully air conditioned Computer Centre are well equipped with latest hardware and essential software to give hands on experience to students. Students will be provided round the clock access to the internet for studies, knowledge enhancement and research activities. The entire campus is connected to Internet through 4 Mbps Full Duplex optical fiber leased line and this service is distributed throughout the campus via Wi-Fi network. The students will be able to refer to online journals and other publications.
