Department of Applied  Science:

Library:

The MAIT Institute, Delhi is well equipped with four floors of the library with an approximate seating of 350 students. The library forms an excellent blend of books covering the course curriculum, magazines, journals, and beyond the curriculum reading material along with the availability of the Digital Library. The library area is equipped with a Wi-Fi facility on all four floors to cater for the access of online study material for the benefit of students.

Sports Facilities:

The institute has a computer center equipped with high-end intelligent MikroTik, HP and CISCO routers and switches, and possesses round the clock 250 Mbps Internet Leased Line [OFC] and 24 Mbps RF Link for the OFC and Wi-Fi connectivity for the academic, administrative, and hostel blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all the nodes. Auditorium:

MAIT has two auditoriums the main auditorium with a capacity of 750 people is one of its kind which provides an excellent platform for various Cultural Activities, Symposiums, Conferences & seminars. The auditorium is well carpeted with a high acoustic system and comfortable seating. Along with the main auditorium, the campus also has a mini auditorium with a capacity of 120 people which is utilized for various activities as well.

MAIT Eligibility Criteria:

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Admissions:

The admission to the institute is based on the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology cutoff that is allotted by college every year. MAIT is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, [GGSIPU] Delhi, and follows the rules and regulations decided by the University. The university set rules and regulations of admission for every curriculum year. MAIT abide by the admission procedure the university follows.

MAIT admissions for B.Tech courses, all applicants are required to appear in the Joint Entrance Exam [JEE] Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency [NTA]. For M.B.A courses all admissions shall be made based on the merit of Common Admission Test [CAT] 2018 that was conducted by the Indian Institute of Management‟s on a rotational basis. The University shall not conduct its CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of prepared based on normalized CAT/JEE score for its admissions.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Hostel Details:

The MAIT, Delhi provides accommodation facilities to its students. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Infrastructure facilitates the students. The Institute maintains Boy’s Hostel having four blocks on campus. The hostel has over 40 single-seaters, 65 double seater, and 7 four-seater rooms. The institute provides a wholesome hostel facility for the residents and helps them pursue their respective academic and professional goals to their best. The hostel promotes a healthy community atmosphere on the campus. Ragging, physical violence, negative discrimination, consumption of alcohol, or narcotics substances, non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in the hostel.

In the MAIT hostels, each room is equipped with basic furniture like cot, pillow, chair, table, and cupboard, tube light, and fan. Each of the hostels of MAIT, Delhi provides mess facilities for the residents. The messes are managed under the overall supervision of hostel wardens. The institute offers a common room, gymnasium, and sports facilities for residents. MAIT provides the round the clock water and electricity facilities for the hostels.
