About the Career Guidance Cell
Career Guidance Cell is functioning as nodal centre in the college. It consists of Counseling Committee, Training and placement Committee. The cell has been headed by Dr. R. Indra Gandhi with teaching experience of 15 years. The Career Guidance Cell functions with the coordination of faculty members and Student coordinators from all streams.Counseling Committee:
The career guidance cell organizes a week long introduction and counseling programme for the first year students to evaluate them and make them comfortable with the college. The programme has been supported by Audio Visual Recordings. This will help the student to exhibit themselves in the better way.The coordinators for each and every department identify students with health problems, family disturbances, financial constraints, and frequent absents etc. The counseling committee analyzes the identified students for the reason and helps them to overcome from the disorder faced by the students.
Training Committee:
To meet the rapid changes in technology our college conducts Value Added Courses for the students from I year onwards.The other unique feature of the training programme is the need analysis done among the students and based on their need they are exposed to various training programmes. The effectiveness of the training programme is analyzed by the feedback collected from each and every student. Our college is the prometric centre for Microsoft, Oracle and Siemens.
Placements:
Placements are benchmark to the performance of any management institute and it depicts the success and the growth of the institutions. The Objective of the placement cell is to facilitate the process of placement & ensure that each eligible student gets an opportunity in the industries. The cell aims to achieve 100% placement assistance to our students. The cell consists of student placement representatives and the placement coordinator from each department.We work on placing our students with core companies of the respective discipline of education. The students are placed according to their interest and skill that are set by the organizations where they can work and also increase their creativity & innovation in the development of technology as well as the organization.
India’s best corporate are where our Alumni are presently working. Other than this, we are hopeful of further improving our placement opportunities, activities and avenues in the near future while working in association with our powerful Alumni.
