Scholarships – Awards :-
Two kinds of scholarships i.e. Govt. and Private scholarships are given to students. Punjab Govt. is providing scholarships to SC and BC students. Besides it, Merit and National Scholarships are also provided. Apart from Govt. Scholarships, Nine private scholarships are sponsored by the former faculty members, Alumni and some philanthropists to the students.
Details of Awards/Scholarships:
1.Sh. Satya Dev Vidyalankar Scholarship:-(Personal)
This scholarship was started by the Mrs. Aparjita Kumari (Ex-Principalof the college) in memory of her late father from the academic year 2000-01. Its amount is Rs. 1200/- per annum and selection of students will be besed on merit cum means from class B.Com-I.
II. Sh. Mahadev Prashad Memorial Scholarship:-
This Scholarship which is of Rs. 1100/- was started by Sh. K.K. Saxena (Ex-Principal) from the 2002-03. Selection of the students is based on merit in M.Com.-I and it is evaluated from following four papers:-
Financial Accounting
Corporate Accounting
Cost Accounting
Management accounting
III. Deepak Sonia Jindal Memorial Scholarship:-
This scholarship is started from 2004-2005 by Shri Surinder Jindal in the memory of his late son & daughter-in-law. This scholarship of Rs. 5000/- is given to those students who stand first in B.Com. & M.Com.
IV. Punjab Govt. College Retired Teachers welfare Association Scholarship:
This Scholarship is sponsorred by Punjab Govt. college Retired Teachers Association. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 1000/- per month.
V. Sadbhavana Hospital Scholarship:-
This scholarship is started by Dr. Sudhir Verma of Sadbhavana Hospital for the education of poor & brilliant students of B.Com-I every year by the Bikram Alumni and it continues for three years.
VI. Deepak Sonia Jindal Sports Scholarship:-
This scholarship of Rs. 500 each is given to the best athletes selected among boys & girls respectively on the Annual Sports day function.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee was ₹8000 approximately per year at Government Bikram College of Commerce. There was many scholarship options ava ilable to students who belong to SC/ST/OBC 250 students approximately. No loans were needed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are 12th pass in commerce stream for getting into Government Bikram College of Commerce. No entrance exam is required.
Placements & Internships : Placement of Government Bikram College of Commerce is average. Alumni network is good.
Academics & Faculty : Class timings were 9 am sharp to 2 pm at Government Bikram College of Commerce. There were proper projects and assignments. The quality of teaching was good Overall experience is great Enjoyed a lot.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Two hostels are there one for boys and the other one is for girls Hostel fee per month was ₹2000approximately at Government Bikram College of Commerce. Clubs & Associations : Student societies were great nd cooperative at Government Bikram College of Commerce. Main festivals like Lohri Teej have celebrated also other activities were there like college fest, price distribution function etc. My life was awesome in college
