Library
Library is an integral part of any educational institution and the library of the college is fully computerized, spacious and largest in the state with a total number of 56911 books in its shelves. The College library has been "N-Listed" under INFLEBNET whereby students can have on line access to books and journals. To compete with the changing educational needs, self-financing and professional courses like BBA,MBA, PGDCA, BCA and MCA were also introduced in 1997,2011, 2007, 2010 and 2012 respectively. Besides six career oriented add-on courses are also offered to students which they can opt as additional courses. The college offers 21 subjects to the students for choice in their graduation which also includes Elective English, Elective Hindi and Elective Sanskrit. The subjects like Geology, Commercial Art, Painting, Psychology, Philosophy, Honours in Economics, Geography and Physics are the major attractions as these are offered only by this prestigious institution of the state. The college also offers two vocational courses i.e. Computer Applications & Tourism and Travels for which admission is made on merit basis. The college has the honour of being given Star College Project by the Department of Bio-Technology, Govt. of India. The college has an IGNOU Study Centre which caters to the needs of the students from various districts of the state and this Study Centre offers more than 25 courses in various disciplines.
Hostel
A hostel is a home away from home. Aware of the special needs and requirements of students, who come from far- flung areas to the GOVERNMENT POST GRADUATE COLLEGE DHARAMSHALA, and the hostels try to provide them a safe, secure and affordable accommodation. There are three hostels for students on the campus, two for girls and one for boys. These hostels which accommodate about 150 students play an important role in shaping the destiny of wards and prepare them to fight the battle of their life.
The hostels take pains to give its students a neat and clean environment and a comfortable place to live in. Man is a social animal and needs to interact with others. The students of hostels are encouraged to live in harmony, like one big family, co-operating to make hostel life a rich and fruitful experience.
The hostels of GOVT. POST GRADUATE COLLEGE DHARAMSHALA try to provide an ideal atmosphere for a healthy, all round development of personality and a launching pad for a glorious career ahead. Living in a hostel demands high degree of integrity, consciousness, cooperation, tolerance and hard work.
Seminar Halls

Sports
A big Football Play-Ground,Hockey Play-Ground and also a good College Canteen adds a lot to the infrastructure of GDC Dharamshala.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You must be 12th pass. You have to score minimum 45% in 12th class. No need of any enterance exam. Take your important docoument and certificate when you go for taking admission.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : We don't have the hostel. Food offered was good. The classroom was above average.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : One should have mainly 50% of marks in all the subjects in his/her 12th Board. Cut off can vary for each course.
Placements & Internships : I have not done the internship. I directly join my family business with my parents.
Fees & Scholarships : My college fee was around INR 5,000 per annum. Scholarships were being provided to the students.
Academics & Faculty : My daily routine was to attend the classes and to go to the library for the exam preparations.
Clubs & Associations : We don't have many events but some functions were conducted in some and the other way

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are hostels available, but students can get hostel facility,,according to their marks merit. On other end pg's are also available and the rates are lyk 4,500 per month aproxx. There is canteen available for students,with healthy food. Wi-Fi available in college campus, Classrooms are also good , labs are clean all things are available anytime, and in library students can easily increase their vocabulary, get more and more knowledge.

Academics & Faculty : Daily class timings are according to time table and student get gap aftr class for their refreshment that that is to be fully needed so....Method of teaching is very nyc,,,NYC facultaty,,helpful and coprative also......my experience in college was very memorable,unforgettable,and proudable.
Clubs & Associations : Society of students are good. In campus of college related to sports festivals. And all cultural activities happens. And all students take part. And at last life of college is joyful and interesting. Where student can do his/her studies as well can achieve new and new things daily
