Scholarships and Exemption in Fee :-
There are a number of scholarships for poor and meritorious students available through various Govt. and Non-Govt. agencies.

• The Govt. has a provision for scholarship to students belonging to Scheduled Castes/tribes, Low income Groups, Poverty come brilliance group and IRDP families. The candidates have to apply on a prescribed proforma. Dates are mentioned on the Notice Boards prominently.
• As per Govt. notification No EDN & H (8) 3 (7) 1/76 dated 29-06-2007 all Bonafide Himachali Girls are Exempted from tuition fees. At the time of admission they will compulsorily have to submit a certificate of permanent residence issued by a competent Revenue Officer.
• Only real brothers studying in the college are entitled to get half tuition fee exemption out of two, only one can apply for exemption and out of three studying simultaneously, two younger brothers can claim the same, by applying to the Principal normally in the month of September.
• Special scholarship of Rs. 4000/- is given to meritorious Sanskrit students by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan New Delhi.
