Placements & Internships : I haven't done internship yet but one of my seniors whom I know has got his job in a finance company with a salary of Rs.16000 per month as fresher.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Heramba Chandra college is one of the best colleges of kolkata under calcutta university. A candidate must have above 80% score in 12th Boards Examination for applying in any course in this college.
Fees & Scholarships : My course fees is upto Rs.7000 per annum for B.Com honours course (including university examination fees). Any candidate who is eligible for National Scholarship of government of WB can submit their scholarship forms in the college. Above average number of students get scholarship in this college as no compromises are made with education.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel Facilities are Available. Quality of food served in college canteen is average as the cost of food is cheap. Classrooms are usual and the college has two libraries of which one is huge.
Clubs & Associations : Life in college is very joyful where you meet many people of diverse mind. Every one has their goal and is doing things of his or her interest.
Academics & Faculty : College timing starts from 11:45 and ends to 4:45. Total 5 periods are there including a break time of 15 to 20 min after the 3rd period. The college has very good teachers whose teaching methods are good. My overall experience is nice in this college.

Placements & Internships : Axis bank and BPO companies give opportunity to our college students. Minimum salary is INR 10000 and the maximum reaches to 25000.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria: 75%. Cut off: 78%. There is no long procedure of admission in our college, when you get selected from the institute you have to attend a verification class then you become a student of Heramba Chandra College.
Fees & Scholarships : My course fee is INR 5640 per year. Almost 60% students got scholarships from our college.
Academics & Faculty : Class starts at 11:40 am to 4:00 pm. Every period is for about 1 hour. Every semester students got an assignment for their respective subject. Method of teaching in our college is good enough. My experience with regarding our college is best in the first year.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : College does not provide any hostels. PGs cost is very high for a particular area. College canteen is not bad but the quality of food is not so good. Classes are very neat and clean.
Clubs & Associations : Student club is present beside college ground. We celebrate Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Holi and some other festivals. Life is good in college in general.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria in Heramba Chandra College is to complete the higher secondary (10+2). There is no certain entrance examination, you will be admitted with your higher secondary marks. The typical cutoffs are generally above 75% in the general category and above 50% for the SC and ST categories for BCOM course.
Fees & Scholarships : Being a government college, Heramba Chandra College has a cheap and convenient average course fee of INR 4.41 K per year and the total graduation degree of 3 years BCom( Hons) in 14,300.
Academics & Faculty : College timing is from 11.45 am to 4.45 pm. Each class is for 45 minutes. As per CU, attendance has 10 marks per semester, 10 marks are calculated from the internal tests and 80 marks for the final semester paper. This is the division of the marks. The teaching skills of the teachers are average. The overall experience in college is good and it has a positive environment.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are libraries, cheap book stalls, and cheaply priced canteen in the college campus with a common room for girls and boys separately. The quality of the classrooms is not up to date. The infrastructure is of old times. There are no air condition facilities in the classrooms. The PG facilities are available at a variety of pricing policies at a cheaper rate.
Clubs & Associations : There is a common student's union council which helps to solve all type of grievance of the college students as well as the teaching staffs. All Indian festivals are celebrated in the college form Lord Saraswati puja to Holi. Sports is held once a year. Freshers are welcomed every year with a fresher's party. Cultural and social fests also take place once a year.
