Academics & Faculty : Classes are regular and project and assignments are given to the students at IIFM. The ratio of staff to students in 2:1. yes, the strength of staff is greater the students so that complete attention can be given towards the growth of each student.

Fees & Scholarships : College fees are normal and average at IIFM. Scholarships are provided to the students from college.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : IIFM has a sprawling campus spread over 230 acres located on a lush green hilltop surrounded by water bodies on three sides. The major facilities at the campus are the library with a total collection of 34000 books and other publications in the area of forestry, ecology, environment and management science, computer centre with state-of-the-art GIS and remote sensing software for Geoinformatics applications etc. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are there.Guest houses are there.

Clubs & Associations : There are many social clubs at IIFM like Sports Club, Adventure Club, Cultural Club, Literary Club, Movie Club, Nature Club etc. There is an annual fest kalpataru in which they perform.
