Infrastructure Facilities at Indian Institute of Information Technology, [IIIT] Dharwad:

IIIT Dharwad is currently operating in its transit campus housed in the IT Park in Hubballi with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and a library. The institute is keen to develop its permanent campus in a plot of 61 acres allotted by the Government of Karnataka at Tadasinakoppa village between Hubballi and Dharwad cities.

Laboratory facilities:

• The CSE lab is well equipped to entitle the students for strengthening the concepts in the field of Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Compiler Design, and Construction, Operating System, Introduction to Programming, Networking Lab, Java programming lab, Object-oriented analysis, and design lab,  Data Analytics lab,  Machine Learning lab & Artificial Intelligence Lab.
• The ECE lab is structured with a similar motive to develop students in the field of Electronics, Microprocessor, Microcontrollers, Digital Electronics, Embedded systems, Control Systems, System Modeling and Programming, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), Chip Designing (VLSI), Speech Processing, Analog Electronics, Digital Communication, Wireless Communication, Sensors and Internet of Things 

Internet Facilities:

IIIT Dharwad is equipped with 24/7 basis internet connections with a bandwidth of 50 Mbps.

Sports Facilities:

To keep the students motivated they are allowed to participate in sports activities. The Institute encourages the active participation of the students in sports especially through events like the General Championship and the prestigious annual Inter-IIIT Sports Meet. Facilities for various sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and carrom are provided.

Hostel Facilities:

There are three hostels for boys & one for girls. The hostels are designed in such a way that all mini-canteens, co-operative stores, textbook shops,  and hospitals are nearby. Hostels also have a Wi-Fi facility, twenty-four hours’ water supply, hot-water facility, and electricity. The hostels are provided with security guards and CCTV camera surveillance.

Library Facilities:

The management software Koha is used to computerize the library. The library has a collection of over 4000 volumes and subscribes to magazines and newspapers.
