Placements & Internships : Recently, a company named ATOS international took students for internship.

Academics & Faculty : IIIT Vadodara was established in 2013 under PPP mode. Presently it was running in a temporary campus at GEC gandhinagar in a single block. Our college starts at 8:30 am and classes run up to 12:30 Pm. Academic curriculum doesn't contain other engineering subjects such as chemistry drawing etc the curriculum is a bit advanced when compared to IITs and NIT's. Starting from first sem project are assigned to students and tutorial sessions will be held weekly. All the faculty contain PhD and all are with computer background so here we are mainly concentrated on core cse and it is good for students who mainly concentrate on studies

Fees & Scholarships : Course fees is Rs 76000 per semester. Scholarship is available. Nearly 4 to 5 students are eligible for the Schoalrship. SBI gives us education loans.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :  Our hostel is located at 6 kms away from college near by a village called pethapur. Mess charges are at Rs 13000 per semester. For food they charge at Rs 110 per day. There is no WiFi at hostel and there is a small ground at campus. WiFi speed max up to _200 kbps. Dining halls are poorly maintained only north Indian food is served at college we have both digital library and normal library all labs are well equipped and we make good use of them.

Placements & Internships : I have done a rural internship with a NGO. During this internship, I travelled many schools in the state of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and guided students about the different possibilities of jobs, branches they can opt for. How they can achieve their goal and do good for their family and country. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the DBMS course and I will get about Rs. 3000 per month for my services to the college. I was studying in the first batch of IIIT Vadodara I am also the topper of my branch (IT) with 8.43 CGPA

Academics & Faculty : My day starts with a walk in the morning after getting fresh, then I revise my work and plan the activities for the day on google keep. After these works, I take my breakfast and check my mails. Then from 9 am to 1 pm. I attend classes. I take a short nap for half an hour and then take my meal. After that I focus on my labs and projects. I presume that I am good at studies and good with managing and collaboratin. My experience at college has been exceptional because of my friends and teachers during the whole three years. Of course, there have been some ups and downs. But we are like a family and can handle anything. I belong to the first batch of IIIT Vadodara and I feel proud of it. I have gone through things that probably others will never think of. We together have built our college from scratch. It is sometimes hard to believe how far we have come. I have a deep interest in digital image processing and machine learning. I am very enthusiastic about this project. I have done a lot of literature survey on various image processing algorithm and I want to apply it for the betterment of the mankind and our machine learning society. I have a good team player. I am dependable and very adjustable. I love collaborating with talented people and work through different challenging problems using the collective brainstorming. I have implemented Canny Edge Detection Algorithm, LOG, Harris corner detection. My years of experience in Matlab, C++,Java and Python can also come in handy to your organization.I have also done a workshop with MIT media lab on Synchronous Tools. Here I collaborated with professionals from various fields and genres to produce some brilliant ideas like Birdpedia (designing a network for birdwatcher and habitat for birds). During this workshop, I also worked with Tessel (a microcontroller) which can be used with different sensors like ambient, accelerometer, infrared etc. I also became familiar with the working and applications of adruino, raspberry pi, google glass, oculus,3d printer, laser printer during this workshop. Moreover I have a good knowledge about Big data (Hadoop) which could be handy for applying machine learning and pattern recognition at a large scale on huge corpus. I have worked with terrier for indexing and searching in the Gutenberg project.I am also familiar with Digital Image Processing and love to experiment with new intuitions on matrices. I am currently working on Optical Character Recognition for handwritten and printed text. In this project, I am going to extract features from the images, process it and perform OCR using different supervised learning algorithms like Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machines and K-nearest Neighbor Algorithm etc and compare and evaluate them.

Fees & Scholarships : Rs. 9,000 per course compiling to about Rs. 63,000 per semester We don't have any scholarship options until now No one gets scholarship from the college No, it would be unnecessay to have loans

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are three hostels 2 for boys and 1 for girl. Accomodating about 270 students total in hostel Every room contains 4 students and conditions are reasonabl. The hostel fees per semester is Rs 7,000 Food in our hostel is healthy and tasty. It cost about Rs 40 per meal Classrooms and Labs are not up to the mark. Internet is quite slow. But, it is a lot better than the first year. When we had only one room which we can call our own with no internet facility. We have opened Library this year only. It contains books for satisfactory number and a good librarian trying hard to expand it

Clubs & Associations : We have many clubs ranging from Sports Club, Literature Club, Programming Club, Music Club, Rotary Club We have orgnaised Ventura(Sports Fest), Uttarayan(Kite Festival), Hackathon, Xeric(Cultural Fest) Life in college is quite fun with all the friends

Placements & Internships : I haven't done any internship. Also we just had our first company visit for internship. Their results are yet to be announced. Though our insitute is new so placement and internship is very hard to get.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per semester is Rs. 72,000. There are scholarship options but it depends on financial position of the family. Loans needed sometimes.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Our hostel is around 5 km away from college. The college has arranged bus system but it costs Rs. 5,000 extra per semester. The hostel fees is Rs. 10,000 per semester and it is mandatory to admit in hostel. We have PG near college and it cost less than college hostel fees but we are not allowed to stay there due to hostel rules. For mess we paiy around Rs. 14,000 per semester and food is fine. Outside college there are stalls of fast food. Our infrastructure is developing now. There is no worry in academics, it is perfect. We don't have our own campus. Our college is running in Gandhinagar but it's supposed to be in Vadodara. Our college is in GEC Gandhinagar, we have only one department for that.

Clubs & Associations : There are several clubs and committees in college. Even though we don't have infrastucture but our faculty members and admin staff is so supportive and nice. We celebrate holi, kite festival, independence day, etc festivals.  College life in general is so good. The main pupose of college is to provide quality education and our college is doing just that. As per hostel and infrastucture is concern they are developing it. Overall it is a very good college.
