The IIM Ahmedabad campus is located in the centre of Ahmedabad on 102 verdant acres. The campus offers everything an academic community could desire, including cutting-edge facilities that encourage physical fitness, chances to get outside and make a difference in the world, and more.

The IIM Ahmedabad campus has state-of-the-art facilities for a better learning experience. It is ranked as the top management institute in the country, IIMA is a “mini-city” in itself and has facilities catering to every need of the students residing there. 

The institute has academic buildings, faculty offices, student and faculty hostels, a library, and several other amenities. Some highlighting features of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad infrastructure are listed below.

IM Ahmedabad Hostel

• The IIM Ahmedabad hostel blocks are separate for the male and female residing students. The institute has twenty-seven student dormitories that can accommodate 740 students.
• Separate accommodation facilities are available for married students. Each student dorm has ten rooms around a stairway on each floor.
• Each floor also has a separate tearoom. The IIM Ahmedabad hostel rooms are equipped with a washing machine, TV, refrigerator, and Wi-Fi connection.
• The students are served meals catering to various cuisines at the IIMA hostel mess.

IM Ahmedabad Library

• IIM Ahmedabad has a central library with all modern facilities, catering to all the academic requirements of the students, staff, and faculty alike.
• The Vikram Sarabhai Library on the IIM Ahmedabad campus is a “hybrid” library with vast digital and print media collections.
• The IIM Ahmedabad library has an assemblage of over 1.94 lakh books, 46000 bound titles, 2600 papers, 340 theses, 2100 project reports, and reference books.
• In addition, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad facilities also include subscriptions to various international and national journals. The library has approximately 19815 journals that are online and 146 printed journals.

IM Ahmedabad Classrooms

• IIMA has built five seminar halls, six classrooms, and an amphitheatre facility for discussions.
• All the classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi for better connectivity and discussions. Five more classrooms, an auditorium, and twelve other seminar rooms are to be added to the IIM Ahmedabad infrastructure in the near future.

IM Ahmedabad IT Infrastructure

• The IIM Ahmedabad campus has a computer network, building a connection between all the people.
• The computer network has a fibre optics backbone that extends to every building on the campus.
• In addition, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad infrastructure also has an IT laboratory with computers with a range of software packages available to everyone including students, scholars, researchers, and faculty members for various academic purposes.

IM Ahmedabad Medical Facilities

• A designated dispensary is present on the IIM Ahmedabad campus for injuries and other medical accidents.
• Staff, researchers, teachers, and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad students can use the healthcare facilities.
• In addition to providing medical assistance, the IIMA healthcare centre also provides regular checkups, dietary information, and health advice. The doctors present there also refer people to hospitals in the city in case of emergencies.

IM Ahmedabad Sports Facilities

• Various outdoor and indoor sports facilities, a fully equipped gymnasium, and a yoga room are included in the IIM Ahmedabad infrastructure.
• The outdoor sports facilities include courts and grounds for volleyball, tennis, frisbee, basketball, cricket, and football.
• A jogging and cycling track is also present on the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad campus.
• The IIM Ahmedabad facilities for indoor games include squash and badminton courts, snooker, board games, and a swimming pool.

IM Ahmedabad Facilities for Differently-Abled

• IIMA aims to provide equal amenities to every student present on campus.
• IIM Ahmedabad campus provides lighting with high-power and high-contrast signages for low-vision students.
• The library includes Braille books and resources for visually impaired students. In addition, ramps and elevators have been built as part of IIM Ahmedabad Campus. 

IM Ahmedabad Auditorium

• IIM Ahmedabad Campus includes an auditorium equipped with all modern technology.
• The auditorium, named "RJ Matthai Auditorium'', after the first permanent Director of IIMA. Various conferences and events of international calibre are organised at the auditorium.

IM Ahmedabad Campus Facilities

• The IIM Ahmedabad Campus has been built into various parts, like administrative buildings, academic complexes, and residential dormitories.
• The campus has a Faculty Housing Complex for the teaching staff members. Earlier, there were provisions for accommodating 110 faculty members, but recently, the housing complex has been constructed and expanded to accommodate all the teachers residing on the campus.
• In addition, the IIM Ahmedabad campus has an International Management Development Centre (IMDC), which has guest houses and is a site for organising various courses and conferences as well.

IM Ahmedabad Sustainable Facilities: The IIM Ahmedabad Campus has included several ecologically sustainable facilities to help promote environmental conservation. The initiatives taken on campus include:
