IISWBM Admission 2025: Eligibility, Selection Process, Dates

Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata admission 2025 for its MBA programs will soon begin. The institute accepts scores of CAT/MAT/ CMAT/ JEMAT for its morning and evening sessions and other formats for over 300 seats. 

For MBA(Day) session admission, the institute gets the CAT scores directly from the IIM admission committee for admission purposes. The CAT 2024 has been scheduled for November 24, 2024. 

IISWBM admission is also available for M.Phil, MBA, MSW, and PG Diploma and Executive PG Diploma at the Postgraduate level and CRIMM at the Research level. Admission to M.Phil and MSW and Ph.D. is based upon written tests.

IISWBM MBA admission is granted based on the different entrance exams. The important dates related to the admission are given below:

IISWBM MBA Admission 2025

IISWBM offers a Master of Business Administration degree course in MBA (Day) and MBA (Evening) formats for candidates. The institute also offers an MBA-Public Systems and MBA-Human Resources degree course for 2 years for candidates. 

IISWBM MBA Eligibility Criteria

IISWBM MBA eligibility criteria is given below:

• The candidates must pass their Bachelor's degree with 50% (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PWD) from a recognised university or institute. 
• Applicants must also score above the cutoff in different entrance exams.

IISWBM MBA Selection Process

The IISWBM MBA selection process is given below. 

Step 1: Entrance Exam

• Interested candidates must appear for the entrance exams mentioned above. 

Step 2: Application Form

• The application forms will be available on the official website. Interested candidates must apply for admission through the website. 
• Attach required documents such as score cards of 10th and 12th etc. 
• Fill in the scores of entrance exams and attach scorecards.

Step 3: Group Discussion and Personal Interaction

• Selected students are called for group discussions and personal interviews. 
• Applicants must carry original documents for verification. 

Step 4: Merit list

• Based on different factors, applicants will be selected and the final list of students will be released on the official website.

How to Apply for IISWBM Admission

The candidates seeking admission to the institute can apply via offline mode. However, applications are available both online and offline. 

• Step 1: Visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management Kolkata, Kolkata.
• Step 2: Go to admissions, find the course to be applied to, and choose an online form.
• Step 3: Fill out the form with all the qualification details and personal details.
• Step 4: Attach the soft copies of all the documents mentioned below.
• Step 5: Payment of application fees can be done with a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
• Step 6: The application Number will be generated after the application process. This should be noted for further reference.
• Step 7: Take printouts of the Application Certificate and the payment receipt.
• Step 8: Send the Application Certificate, Payment receipt, and copies of documents to the Institute at:

Below are the basic steps to apply in offline mode:

• Step 1: The application form can be obtained from the college office by making a cash payment. Or, the application form can be downloaded from the website.
• Step 2: The filled-up form can be submitted to the college in person/ by courier/ speed post.
• Step 3: Payment of application fees can also be made through "SBI Power Jyothi" Challan and the receipt copy must be enclosed with the application form.
• Step 4: Copies of the required documents must also be submitted.

• Class X, XII Marks sheet
• Bachelor's and Master's Degree Certificate and Marks sheet
• Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate for Aadhar Card or Class X Admit Card or Passport)
• Certificate for SC/ ST/ NC-OBC, if applicable
• Certificate for Physical Disability, if applicable
• Certificate for Below Poverty Line, if applicable
• Work Experience Certificate (If any)
