Placements & Internships : The B.Math course is mainly theoretical and most of the students opt for higher studies in their tical mathematics in foreign or so on. A 25-30% student population sit for placement from this course whereas from msqms and msqe course almost all students sit for placement. For placement and internship different companies come for mainly data mining, machine learning, statistical jobs and other posts. Average internships pay for INR 15-30k a month to the students whereas the average placement packages are around INR 8-12 lpa. Although highest placements vary around INR 30-39 lpa. Mostly all students opting for placement and internship gets selected or placed. Alumni network mostly consists of professors and academicians in abroad as well as in country, but in different companies there are alumnies from isi. More information can be directly found from alumni under stat and math unit in www.isibang.ac.in

Fees & Scholarships : For B.Math there is no course fee. All students who are admitted avails a 3000/- monthly scholarship. The scholarship is continued on basis of maintenance of average marks and attendance. For the other courses also stipend and all are available. For msqms if someone is admitted in management quota then he does not avail these. But in average all the students get scholarship of INR 3000-5000(masters). Hence no loans are needed to take the courses.

Clubs & Associations : The college has a student population of 230-250 around. So there are not much of club kind of things. There are cultural festivals held each semester almost twice. With the year starting with a welcoming freshers party, the students find scavenger hunt, treasure hunt, chaos( cultural event) and farewell party for the departing seniors every year in case of cultural fest. For sports there are tournaments for football, cricket, badminton,tt. There is a specially organised weekly event named student lecture series in our college where students give lecture on different advanced topics of mathematics. Not much of tech fest is held annually still now. Thus the college life is a enjoyable one here. With a bit of motivation in ones heart one can enjoy both courses and the endearing community of the college as well as spend time like himself or herself.
