IAER is Affiliated with Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, WB as per section 2f of the UGC Act, 1956 by the University Grant Commission, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, approved by West Bengal University Teacher's Training, Education Planning, and Administration (WBUTTEPA). Institute is also affiliated with National Council for Teachers Education.  IAER offers undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), multiple courses in Health care Science like BBAHM, BSCMLT, BSCOTT, BSCCCT, BSCPA, and MHA, Hospitality courses like BSCHHA, Information Technology courses like BCA, BSCDS, BSCCS and Management courses like BBA and MBA.

Interested students can take admission via IAER online entrance plus a scholarship test named ICET. After this can complete the admission process upon clearing the exam online or via Walk in the Admission procedure. IAER Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking IAER admissions can apply if they meet the eligibility criteria for the course of their choice. Given below is a list of IAER courses with their eligibility criteria.

Bachelor of Education Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates who have completed either Graduation or PG with 50% marks in honors.
• Students belonging to a reserved category or physically disabled must have 45% marks.

Bachelor in Business  Administration in Hospital Management Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 passed from any board with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.
•  Candidates appearing in the class XII board can also apply in advance.

BMLT Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 passed from any board with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply. Candidates appearing in the class XII board can also apply in advance.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 passed from any board with biology or life science as one of the subjects. Students from any stream can apply.
•  Candidates appearing in the class XII board can also apply in advance.

B.Sc (Cyber Security) Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 passed from any board with biology or life science as one of the subjects. Students from any stream can apply.
