The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, [IHM] Lucknow was established in 1969  under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. Of India & Uttar Pradesh. The institution was started as a Food Craft and later converted into the Institution of Hotel Management in 1980. The college offers industrial training to students and scholarships. • General, SC, ST and OBC category students from Uttar Pradesh state are eligible to apply the for IHM Lucknow scholarships.
• The Pre-matric scholarship is awarded to class 9th and 10th.
• Post-Matric (Dashmottar) scholarship is for the candidates studying in the college, university or institute recognised by UP Govt.

The category wise annual income must be as per the details given below to be eligible for the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Lucknow scholarship.

• Below Rs 1 lakh for the minority.
• Below Rs 30,000/- for OBC category students.
• Below Rs 25,000/- for general in the urban area and  Rs 19,884 in the rural area.
• Below  Rs 2 lakhs per year for SC, ST category students.
