Food is free & is cooked by the college students & depends on every day on the people cooking it.
Wi-Fi available but not provided to the students, the library is limited but very helpful. Labs are great, classrooms average.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
To be made sure that the student has passed from a 10+2 or higher level of schooling in order to be assured of admission into IHM.
The exam I took was NCHMCT-JEE to get in.
The Cut-offs are rank-based where the top three institutes take students from rank 1-1000.
Placements & Internships :
I did an Internship in Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore with a stipend of ₹1800/month.
Big brands like Marriott, ITC, Taj, Oberoi's select students from IHM for placements depending on their field of interest &/or specialty.
Starting salary can vary from ₹15000/month to ₹45000/month. The Highest salaries can be up to 30 lakhs/month & higher.
Placement percentage has been 162% last year.
Fees & Scholarships :
The Fees in IHM per year is ₹74000.
Scholarships are provided by the university which is NCHMCT (National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology).
Academics & Faculty :
Everything is on time & all projects are to be done punctually & without fail. the discipline is high in IHM.
Quality & method of teaching varies from teacher to teacher but overall it stands on top 5 IHMs. Campus experience zero as the college is very small. The Management is decent
