The Training & Placement Department of IMS is called the Corporate Resource Centre. The IMS Ghaziabad placement cell understands the needs of the corporate world and is helping the students to prepare for their careers. CRC acts as an interface between the students, faculty, and the corporate world to initiate continuous interaction with the industry, sharing industry experiences, and understanding the needs of the corporate world.

CRC organizes campus interviews for student placement and training and also organizes corporate guest lectures and industry interaction. The Department promotes career counseling by organizing guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel and most importantly by the own Alumni on creating a clear career plan, setting realistic career goals, and planning professional development for their future.

Exclusive training programs in soft skills, aptitude, domain specific technical training along with multiple online tests are given to students to make them assess their skills in broader areas.

IMS Ghaziabad Placement Process

IMS Ghaziabad placement cell follows a rigorous process of recruitment that each student has to go through in order to secure a job for themselves. The IMS Ghaziabad Corporate Resource Centre broadly conducts the placement activities wherein it covers Pre-Placement Preparedness, live project work, summer internship, corporate speaker talk, and Final Placement. In fact, the Institute continues to maintain a consistent placement record since its inception.

The steps involved in the IMS Ghaziabad placement process are explained below:

• The companies willing to visit the campus send in their confirmation to the CRC.
• The companies then send in a list of students that they wish to interview.
• The companies visiting the campus then conduct their Pre-Placement Preparedness (PPP), wherein these companies make presentations in which students' concerns like Job description, remuneration package, the scope for growth, and cross-functional exposure are addressed.
• As part of the selection procedure, many organizations conduct written tests. The companies can conduct these tests during their visit to the campus for pre-placement talks.
• The company also engages students in Summer Training, which is a 10-week Summer Project.
• Post this, the companies roll out the names of the finally placed students.

IMS Ghaziabad Internship

The institute has made the Summer Internship an integral part of the course curriculum. Students who have completed the first year of the PGDM course are eligible for the summer internship. More than 100% paid summer internships were offered to the IMS Ghaziabad students of the academic batch (2021-23) with multiple offers.

Students work as an intern in various organizations for a period of 8 to 10 weeks in their areas of specialization. Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad summer internship process usually commences from the month of April, every year.

Summer internship provides students with an opportunity to test the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom. The internship also assists students to explore and develop their corporate network. At the end of the IMS Ghaziabad internship, students have to submit a report on the work they've done at the organization.
