Infrastructure :-

Classroom Blocks and Buildings:

Jagiroad College offers adequate and updated infrastructure for all internal stakeholders. The College houses two beautiful classroom blocks for students of Arts stream. They are suitably christened as the Kalang and Kapili Blocks after the two perennially flowing tributaries of the Brahmaputra. The Killing Block houses the distinctively update laboratories, class-room and department common rooms of teachers of the science stream. The Mayang Block houses the IGNOU study Centre and classrooms for Major subjects. Dr. Subhas Saha Memorial Block accommodates the departmental common rooms of teachers of the Arts stream. For smooth functioning of Commerce stream an existing building has been renovated and prepared for holding classes. 

The Central Library:
 
The three storied Central Library houses a spacious reading hall and reading rooms for teachers and Major Course students. It has a rich collection of thirty thousand volumes of books, journals and magazines, CDs etc. Computerizations of its services are well under way. The expansion of the library has provided ample space for upgradation and modernization.

Computer Centre:

The College has a sophisticated air-conditioned Computer Centre with  thirty computers for running the PGDCA, Degree level vocational course and other short term programmes during vacations for  students. A rapid expansion under the Buniyad scheme of Government of Assam has augmented further modernization of the Computer Centre with a provision of  fifty more computers.

 Cultural Museum:
A unique cultural museum has been developed by the teachers of the College and it is located in the expanded section of the Central Library. A new museum building is under construction in front of the central library.

Conference Room:

The Conference-cum-seminar room of the College is an active centre for holding brainstorming sessions among the staff and the students.

Auditorium:

A sprawling 8000 sq. ft. auditorium has come up for smooth organization of events and activities throughout the session.

Hostels:

The Swapna Majika triple storied Girls’ Hostel with an intake capacity of 80 offers excellent facilities of easy and comfortable stay. The Zoon Beel R.C.C. Boys’ Hostel with an intake capacity of 50 students also provides a pleasant and cosy environment for academic pursuits to its inmates.

Purified and cold drinking water facility:

The College  has provided clean, pure and cold drinking water facility to all the students of the College from the last academic session.

 Uninterrupted Power Supply:

The College has installed solar power plant in order to facilitate uninterrupted power supply throughout the campus.

Digital Class Rooms :

The College authority has introduced digital class room with smart boards in two class rooms and one seminar room of the College to facilitate updated and smooth teaching-learning mechanism.

Boys’  and Girls’ Common Room :

The College has provided spacious  Boys’ and Girls’ common rooms with attached toilets and necessary amenities.

Gymnasium:

The College has a sixteen station multi gymnasium near the College auditorium. It also houses the yoga centre of the College.

Canteen:

The College authority has set up a good canteen that offers its services to the students and staff of the College.

Parking Sheds:

The College has covered bi-cycle and scooter stands for student and the staff. A separate four-wheeler parking lot has also been carved out.

Open Air Sitting Places

The College offers an easy and serene open air tree covered sitting space for students inside its premises. A lush green lawn is also being prepared for holding open air sessions. The Annual Debate among the contestants of JCSU office bearers is an attractive event-traditionally held every year in the grass carpeted lawn.
