Canteen And Cafeteria
At the beginning of the 2001 school year, Jasdev Singh Sandhu Foundation commenced operating a canteen for all students at one place. With the induction of institutes JSSCE in 2004, JSSPC in 2006, JSSIET in 2008 and JSSDC in 2013, group is running two canteen and 1 huge cafeteria which meets the eating desire of the students from Kindergarten to Year Twelve in school & from 12th to MA/M.Tech in other institutions. Instead of being outsourced, the College canteen staff made decisions on menus and pricing to benefit all students. By promoting better student health the College hopes to inspire our students to be healthy and happy about themselves. In keeping with the College’s Healthy Foods Policy, the canteen provides healthy food options.
Library

Library is the heart, mind and soul of an educational institution and a fountain-head of innovativeness, inspiration and insight both for the students and the faculty. Learning and library are to each other as the light to the lamp.
Information Resource Centre (Library) is located in the spacious section of the College building with air conditioned reading room. It has been systematically and steadily strengthened. The IRC’s operation and services are fully computerized with “TechLib-” multi-user Integrated Library Automation Software, developed by SUI Generous Technology , New Delhi and a Bar Code based circulation system is in use. The IRC is equipped with more than 7,921 books from different streams. Besides these text and reference books IRC is also subscribing a large number of national and international journals, magazines and dailies.
Bibliographic records of IRC’s holdings can be, accessed through the TechLib On Line Public Access Catalogue(OPAC).The IRC is also maintains a good collection of important educational CDs on Engineering & Technology.
Anti-Ragging
Ragging means an act, conduct or practice by which power or status of senior students is brought to bear on students freshly enrolled of students who are in any way considered junior by other students & includes individual or collective act/practice which:
We have laid down strict norms to ensure smooth induction of new students into the campus as well as to ensure that no undesirable activities take place under only circumstances. In view of the above, following measures will be adopted and all efforts made to ensure implementation of the measures in letter and spirit.
All the students are required to sign anti-ragging declaration form.
Bill boards will be printed and affixed at all places frequented by the students to include foyers of all the building, common rooms, canteen, labs & libraries etc.
Mobile patrol consisting of security personnel will patrol the campus are to ward off any unpleasant occurrence.
Due announcements will be made during all opening / inaugural ceremonies of various courses to apprise students of the anti-ragging measures.
Telephone number of various important functionaries will be provided to all new students to enable them to report any attempt of ragging.
Suggestions/complaint boxes are positioned of all important places to enable students to inform management of any case of ragging, if an individual does not want to disclose his/her identity.
Faculty members who are not having classes at a particular time will keep vigil in the vicinity of their respective work stations/floor.
Introduction of new students with old / senior students should be organized at the earliest to ward off any attempt by the seniors to organize such meeting repeatedly resulting into ragging at times.
Teacher/security personnel will be detailed to accompany the students in College Buses in the morning/ evening to avoid any ragging en route.
Students will be forbidden to be called outside the campus by the seniors for introductory purpose new students will be warned that they will do so only at their own risk and responsibility.
Surprise checks will be conducted at night at different timings to ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels
