TRAINING AND PLACEMENTS    

JEC aims at ensuring placement opportunity for every student in order to make them grow with confidence. Orientation of the working and the practical exposure like the industry is the core aspect that the institute believes in. We provide an environment that fosters the overall personality development along with the intellectual skills of the students.

T & P Cell constantly works on getting the students exposed to corporate culture by training them on soft skills, aptitude along with the technical training. It provides the platform to the students to beat the rigorous selection process and emerge successfully in today's competitive world.

Various activities include:

• Conducting career guidance programs.
• Seminars on specialized topics by professionals from reputed companies.
• Regular visits to Industries & Institutes to enhance Practical knowledge
• Case Study Analysis, Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Session.

Training & Placement Activities

In addition to campus placements the Training and Placement Cell organizes Professional Development programs like mock interviews, group discussions, case studies etc. and has sessions planned on

1.) Personality development.
2.) Interpersonal & Communication Skills.
3.) Career Planning / Mapping in Life Science Industry.
4.) Program on "Technology Management".
5.) Program on "Personal Effectiveness for students".

Important Training Activities:

1. Student Development Programme (SDP)
SDP is a one week dedicated programme arranged during the semester break for enhancing students’ technical knowledge & soft skills and prepare them for campus placement. This is followed by regular programmes during semester

2. Seminar/workshop
Large number of seminars/workshops are arranged every semester to update students with current needs and challenges in industry

3. Personality Development Programme
To prepare students for professional career (at corporate) after successful completion of 4 years B.E.

4. Industrial Visit
To familiarize students with industrial environment which they are likely to pursue after completing their course successfully
