Jawaharlal Aviation Institute, Palakkad offers the CAR 147 Basic AME [Aircraft Maintenance Engineering] training course. 

JAI, Palakkad AME Training Course Admission 2024

The institute offers the AME course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at the undergraduate level. Students who have passed the 10+2 level of education. The course is for a duration of 2 years (4 semesters) and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded on successful completion of the course. For successful completion, students are required to complete 288 hours of practical training.

JAI is approved by DGCA to offer this AME training course. The course is conducted through a semester system spread over 4 semesters. This Institute conducts practical training in addition to classroom instruction. JAI also has a separate Lab/ workshop on Sheet metal repair, general engineering, welding, Airframe, Piston engine, jet engine and also separate hangar space to accommodate serviceable aircraft Learjet 25B and Cessna 150. The Institute has signed a contract with Air India Engineering Services limited Trivandrum to undertake 288 Hrs of practical training on Aircraft Airbus 320.
