The college starts at 8.15 am and ends at 3.45 pm . The break timing is different for first years and seniors. Teacher students interaction is very good in this college even it's a strict environment its a better environment. In my dept every year seniors conducts technical competition like ppt,quiz,mini project to 3rd,4th years again it's a good one . Teaching is using the black board, using smart class, giving seminars to students. Assignment will be provided through the classroom. it is a very good time while I'm in college very nice environment
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Jerusalem has become an autonomous institution from the academic year 2019-2020. The information planted happiness in many students mind because they thought of getting relief from Anna University (question paper, evaluation and the pressure towards them). The admission will be carried out by Anna University and management quota. There are no fees for SC caste students.
Placements & Internships :
The college works for students betterment and carving best engineers providing extra activities to improve their technical knowledge to shine in society. Workshop are conducted every year . Students will be watched by their proctor and will be advised to attend more implant training and internships. Industrial visit will be assigned every semester this will help students more to understand about the core industrial work. There is a placement department in our college which works in a very good manner, developing skills, encourage their entrepreneurship quality of students. The companies which come to our college are Capgemini, Infosys, bijus, Amazon, TCS ,CTS, Sutherland, hexaware and soon. More students are getting placed every year. More work have been done in bringing core industries to college. The passed out students are brought up to give lectures to understand students what are the efforts to be undergone to get place and motivate them . Also seniors employees of core companies related to core companies are brought to give lectures on practical application of students which helps students to improve knowledge and help them getting placed.
Fees & Scholarships :
As I came under Anna University counseling my academic fee is 70000 for first graduate it will be 50000 hostel fee is 90000 for management quota students it is 90000 and if they need clg transport it's fees according to distance are there. Loans can be brought from SBI IOB, Baroda , and banks available. Yearly scholarship will be provided for students by Anna University . I will be provided with 5000 per year . All students gets scholarship. A serious disadvantage is that this year they put fine of RS.200 per day of delay to pay fees.
Clubs & Associations :
NSS,YRC clubs are there functioning with the motive of helping needy people. Camps will be organized, Students who have their own interest to help can help with social mind, not for any fame. Many social awareness programs have been conducted. There will be a holiday for all functions there will be no celebration. But from last year January, they started celebrating some festivals such as Pongal, Saraswathi pooja etc ...also NSS volunteers organize republic independence days..Every year there will be sports day and cultural day compulsorily where all kinds of sport events will be held nd cricket will be played in Tagore college. The games will be for students, teaching as well as non-teaching staffs. The cultural events will be organized by Tamil mandram and Halcyon club in our clg which separately conducts Tamil and English events like vivadha medai, nerukku naer , debate , explaining the situation etc also the cultural events like Rangoli , Dubsmash ,cooking , dance ,song , drama ,painting etc will be volunteered by respective staffs and volunteers of cultural events . The students who win will receive cash prize. And there will be certificate and cash prize for merit students of every department. And for full attendance tooo.overall there will full joy and technical development for students in our college .the YRC and NSS organise blood donation camps every year. For the cultural events cine stars will be invited . On Sports days indian sports team players will be invited to share their experiences and they distribute prizes to the winners. And for college day the best academic person is brought to share his experience and inspire the students
