Bhavishya Thimmaiah

The college campus area is spread across 38786.60 square metres. The campus consists of an administrative block, degree block, post graduate block, pre university block and a research centre.
The administrative block houses the office of the principal, office manager, reception, accounts office, examination cell, AV room, studio, IGNOU center, documentation room and computer labs.
The Degree block consist of the Vice Principal's office, IQAC office, various departments for Faculty, Labs for Science Departments, conference halls, counseling center, Union Room, Adventure Club, NCC / NSS Room and class rooms.
The Auditorium is a stately structure which is truly an imaginative blend of aesthesis and convenience with subtle sophistication and modest magnificence.

Library

The JNC Library was established in the year 1966 in Frazer Town. In 1976 the college shifted to Koramangala. The Library was first housed in a small room. Later it was shifted to a large hall where it gradually developed into a big library, with a collection of around 30,000 books and 75 Periodicals and Journals. As the college began to grow and develop there was a shortage of space to store library materials and also to accommodate students and staff. A strong need was felt for a bigger building to house the library. Consequently in the year 2000 the present building was constructed which comprises of a basement and four floors. Jyoti Nivas College has made vast improvements in the field of library and information services to the users.

Counselling Centre

Counseling in JNC is a service area which provides a non judgmental, confidential and supportive atmosphere. The environment explores the emotional and psychological problems. The staff is professionally trained to offer individual counseling. The students may confront many challenges in the current competitive world and also be faced with broken relationships. To ease out their stress and to help them to change their perspective and to facilitate adjustment, the college has a counselor.

Internet

To integrate Information System Technology into the present curriculum, the college is one of the first educational institutions to boast its internet connectivity through Cisco Router with 64 KBPS Internet leased line connecting its students to the world and beyond. The faculty and the students are encouraged and allowed to surf the net free of cost. Moreover, nodes are provided in the library for the students to send and receive E-mail.

Canteen

The college provides a healthy environment in the canteen and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable prices & helps the students refresh themselves with snacks during the short break.

Hostel

Hostel is run by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes. An important rule in the hostel and college is - consideration for others. The life in the hostel will depend on your courtesy and co-operation with the warden, staff and companions in a friendly and open manner. Every student is expected to take part in at least one of the extracurricular activities in college. You are expected to take care of the furniture, crockery, books and other common property of the hostel.

Chapel

As a Christian community that strives to love God with our hearts and our minds, we believe that an attitude of worship should inform all of life, our studies as well as our service to others, our public gatherings as well as our solitary moments. In our chapel we express our reverence for God through singing and celebration, through reading and reflection on the Scriptures, through silence and prayer, as well as through diligent study and inquiry in our academic endeavors.

Prayer Hall

In our ardent desire towards holistic development of individuals, the college provides a serene and calm atmosphere to those who wish to spend some time in silence, reflection and prayer. The prayer hall, which is behind the auditorium is elegantly designed.

Gymnasium

Our gymnasium is a proud addition to the facilities we provide in terms of recreation in addition to academics. Recently 3 lakh-worth equipment was added to the Gym - Multi-Gym, Cross-Trainer, Treadmill, Upright Bike, Recumbent Bike and Stationary Bike.

Bank

Vijaya bank has started an extension counter within the campus which offers regular bank services. The bank is open from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm - Monday to Friday, and 10.30 am to 12.00 pm on Saturdays.

Parking

The college provides space for parking 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers for students and separate parking space for staff members of the college. Since the number of students commuting to college on two wheelers and four wheelers have increased, around 1500 sqft. of space has been allotted for parking of the two wheelers, with good security. Although the students are discouraged to come by four wheelers, they too are accommodated within the available space with pass and security restrictions.
