Jyoti Nivas College was established in the year 1966. It is a minority Christian College founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes. The college is affiliated to Bangalore Central University. College  was conferred with 5-star status in 1999 in the First Cycle of Accreditation by NAAC.
