Khallikote University was established as the first cluster University in the state of Odisha on 30th May 2015 under Rashtriya Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) in exercise of the powers conferred by subsections (1) and (2) of the Odisha University Act, 1989 (Odisha Act 5, 1989). The University has a total of six departments: Department of Biosciences and Bioinformatics, Department of Natural Resource Management and Geo-Informatics, Department of Library and Information Science, Department of Mass Communication and Media Technology, Department of Economics and Management Department of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Khallikote University PG 2025

The University offers Post Graduate (PG) in six interdisciplinary subjects through its six PG departments, such as M. Sc. in Biosciences and Bioinformatics, Master in Natural Resources Management and Geo-informatics, Master in Library and Information Science, MBA (Business Economics), MBA in Travel and Tourism Management, Master in Mass Communication and Media Technology. Khallikote University PG Eligibility

Admission to the proposed course requires minimum marks in +2 or equivalent. Admission to various courses requires Graduation and minimum marks in the qualifying examination. Details regarding admission criteria and eligibility are as follows:

Post Graduation	Student must be a Graduate Students can take admissions to the PG programmes through KUB-CUCET Admission to MSc Biotechnology is done through GATB Any Science Graduate (Physical Science, Chemical Science, Biological Science and/ or Agriculture) in 10+2+3 pattern having 50% of marks in aggregate with biology at +2/ senior secondary level.

General Guidelines

Khallikote University, Berhampur fee and courses contains hostel admission fee, establishment fee of the hostel and mess charges will be collected as per the fee structure approved for the Hostels from time to time after admission into the hostels.
Those who wish to avail the transport facility of the University, are requested to pay Rs. 7000.00 per semester in the Office of the Chairman, PG Council, Khallikote University after the admission process is over.

Q: What is the Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc. Biotechnology ?

A: Any Science Graduate (Physical Science, Chemical Science, Biological Science and/orAgriculture) in 10+2+3 pattern having 50% of marks in aggregate with biology at +2/ senior secondarylevel.

Q: What are the Selection Criteria for M.Sc. Biotechnology?

A: The merit list for admission into M.Sc. Biotechnology programme shall be done through GAT-B 2020score only. If GAT-B 2020 Score is identical then Aggregate percentage mark in graduationexamination (+3), and then +2 (SSC) examination will be considered for deciding merit list, respectively.In case, of +2 marks being identical, the applicant born earlier will be preferred.
