Modi University (KKMU) was founded in 2018 through an act passed in the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha and is located in Durg (Chhattisgarh), with convenient access to the twin cities of Durg and Bhilai. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is supported by Modi Enterprises, a global conglomerate established in 1933 by Padma Bhushan Rai Bahadur Gujarmal Modi, and currently led by his son, Mr. K. K. Modi. With a workforce of over 28,000 employees and a global presence in more than 100 countries, Modi Enterprises is valued at USD 2.8 billion.

KK Modi University Admissions

Step 1: Application Submission

• Apply online or visit the KKMU Campus in Durg to complete your application.
• Pay the application fee of INR 280 either online or in cash.

Step 2: Selection Procedure

• If you haven't taken any National/State Level Test (such as JEE, CAT, MAT, XAT), you must appear for the KKMU Admission Test at the University Campus in Durg.

Step 3: Provisional Admission

• If selected, you will receive provisional admission.
• You are required to pay the necessary fee via DD or online payment.

Step 4: Registration

• Report to the Administrative Office of the respective school to complete your registration/enrollment on the dates specified by the University.

Note(s):

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Personal Interview (PI).
• MBA applicants will need to participate in a Group Discussion followed by a Personal Interview.

KK Modi University Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for KKMU courses depend on the type of course chosen. Mentioned below are few courses along with their eligibility criteria.

KKMU B.Tech Eligibility

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] is a four-year UG course with specializations in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cloud Computing & Virtualization, Cyber Security.

 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subject along with Chemistry or any technical vocational subject related to Computer stream as optional with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks

KKMU BCA Eligibility

BCA is a 3-year UG course with specializations in Mobile Computing and Data Analytics

 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board in Science stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as core subject 

KKMU BBA Eligibility

Bachelor of Business Administration is a four-year UG course with specializations in Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Mass Media.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks

KKMU B.Com (Hons) Eligibility

B.Com (Hons) is a 3-year UG course with specializations in Accounts & Finance, Financial & Stock Market Analytics

KKMU MBA Eligibility

KK Modi University Scholarships

K.K. Modi University is dedicated to recognizing the efforts of meritorious students and ensuring that financial challenges do not prevent access to quality education. To honor the achievements of talented and financially disadvantaged students, the university provides scholarships. These scholarships may be adjusted as per updated regulations.

On Admission Merit Scholarship at KK Modi University 

This scholarship is available for the first year of tuition fees only. Scholarships are offered in different slabs as outlined below:

Eligibility Criteria for On Admission Merit Based Scholarship at KK Modi University 

1. The candidate's total marks in the qualifying exam will be considered.
2. The candidate must have passed all subjects.
3. KKMU reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the scholarship if the candidate is found ineligible at any point.
4. The On-Admission Merit Scholarship for UG programs is open to students from any recognized board.

Process for Awarding the On Admission Scholarship at KK Modi University 

• The scholarship will be granted during the admission process.
• The admission department will verify the mark sheets to determine the student’s category and then obtain approval from the relevant authority based on the prescribed percentage/grade.
• The scholarship applies only to tuition fees.

Conditions for Continuation of the Scholarship at KK Modi University 

• The scholarship will continue based on the student’s academic performance. At the end of each year, the student must meet the criteria to maintain eligibility for the scholarship.

• If a student fails to achieve the required CGPA at the end of the year, they may be eligible for a lower scholarship amount for the following year, provided other conditions are met.
• If the student's performance improves by the end of the next year, they may regain eligibility for the original scholarship amount based on the guidelines.
• Students must adhere to all fee deposit deadlines; failure to do so will result in ineligibility for any scholarship.
