TANCET Counselling 2024 registration started on Jun 10, 2024, for TN MBA MCA admissions, and will end on Jul 4, 2024.

The College provides scholarships to the eligible students as below :-

Name of the Scholarship : Govt. of India National scholarship scheme
Value : For Day scholars Rs.120/- per month for Hostellers Rs.300/- per month
Eligibility : Should have received the scholarship during Hr.Sec. Course (No fresh onwards) should pass with at least 60% in the aggregate, for renewal

Name of the Scholarship : Govt. of India Merit scholarship children of primary and secondary school teachers
Value : For Day scholars Rs.125/- per month for Hostellers Rs.170/- per month
Eligibility : Should have received the scholarship during Hr.Sec. Course (No fresh onwards) should pass with at least 60% in the aggregate, for renewal.

Name of the Scholarship : Govt. of India Post – Matric Scholarship to SC & ST students
Value : For Day scholars Rs.330/- per month plus Examination fees and Special fees for Hostellers Rs.740/- per month plus Exam Fees & Special fees.
Eligibility : Parent’s Income not to exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum

Name of the Scholarship : State Govt. Scholarship to BC, MBC
Value : BC, MBC – For Days scholars Rs.320/- and Exam Fees per year. BC – For Hostellers Rs.550/- per year and Exam Fees. MBC/DNC – For Hosteller Rs.1400/- per year and exam fees.
Eligibility : Parents income not to exceed Rs.50,000/- per annum

Name of the Scholarship : Tamil Nadu Educational Loan
Value : Tuition Fees, Special Fees, Cost of test book & Instruments, Maintenance allowance
Eligibility : Children of N.G.O.’s and Teachers in elementary or secondary school. Parent’s annual income not to exceed Rs.30,000/-

Name of the Scholarship : Tamil Nadu Adi – Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Dept., Loan scholarship
Value : Rs.7,000/- per annum
Eligibility : To execute a bond with the Govt. only by Hostellers

Name of the Scholarship : M/s. S.J. Jindal Trust Scholarship
Eligibility : Besides the Government Scholarship, M/s. S.J. Jindal Trust of Bangalore is giving attractive scholarship to the meritorious students

Fees & Scholarships : The college fee for an academic year is around Rs.80000 as described by Anna University, Chennai. Government scholarship will be provided every year for scholars Around 60 per cent of students will get the scholarship If loans are needed for education, Students can apply for the loan through government banks available nearby.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : KLN College Of Engineering is one of the well-reputed colleges in Madurai, Tamilnadu and to avail seats from this college the student should possess some criteria Scored at least 80 percentile in Higher Secondary The cutoff should be around 175+ out of 200

Placements & Internships : They do provide internship opportunities for the final year of the course Top MNCs like TCS, Aricent, Accenture conduct drives in college for the developer, tester roles Jasmine infotech; One of the topmost electronics company will hire candidates for a developer role Around 70 per cent of students have been placed and the average CTC will be around 2 LPA. the college will conduct an alumni meet every year but can improve alumni programs

Academics & Faculty : The class timing is around 9.00am to 4.00pm. Every department in college will conduct three internal exams each semester and provide a number of assignments. KLN College Of Engg has well-experienced teachers but can improve teaching methods Overall the college has good faculties and decent infrastructure but can improve a lot in placement

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels one for boys and one for girls. The hostels are well maintained and fees will be around Rs.80000 per year. They prepare healthy food and snacks will be provided every evening. They have well-spaced classrooms and have separate labs for each stream

Clubs & Associations : The college concentrates more on academics of students They do have Rotaract club in the college but they have to come up with more associations, clubs and cultural programs.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 12th pass with minimum 120 cut off No. 130 is the minimum for the automobile so, study well and score good marks.

Placements & Internships : No, TCS HCl Infosys. 5 lakh per annum. 70 percent got placed in TCS company.

Fees & Scholarships : The management quota fee will be INR 75,000 per annum. Government scholarship process is very hard. Everyone who applies for the scholarship gets it.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are 2 ways of getting admission in this college one is via counseling which is conducted by Anna University or through management quota. In my college cut off marks are only for counseling students and it varies according to course provided.

Placements & Internships : The campus placements are not as good as it was promised during the time of admissions. The allumni network of our college is not good.

Academics & Faculty : The curriculum is the foremost burden to the students. The methods used to teach are outdated. College timing is as similar to school timing and faculties are in a hurry to complete the syllabus within the given time slot.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostel is an awesome one but at my college, we cant enjoy the city life because the college is located in outskirts. The library is a huge and contains lot of books. Wi-Fi works outside the classroom only.

Clubs & Associations : The college conducts many events like blood donation camps, symposium, etc. The student council collects money from the students to conduct the symposium in their own campus with lunch.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 45,000 per annum. I don't know about the scholarship. Loans are available if needed.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : JEE Main is the entrance exam to get the admission in this college.

Placements & Internships : Placements are not that good at this college. Alumni network is average.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is good. Quality of teaching is good. Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : All infrastructures are good. Hostels are separate for both boys and girls. Wifi is available.

Clubs & Associations : Every two years they conduct symposium for each department. Many events are held at this college every year. Life is good at this college.
