Established in 2009, KMCT College of Engineering for women affiliated to Calicut University offers five B-Tech Programmes and one M-Tech Programme in civil engineering. Academic Affairs: 

College started functioning in the year 2009 andis affiliated to University of Calicut and is recognized byAICTE. Initially, B.Tech Programme was started in 4branches, Electronics and Communication Engineering:,Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology andCivil Engineering. In 2011, Biomedical Engineeringbranch was also started. Sanctioned intake strength is60 in each branch. During this academic year, 2014-15,M.Tech also has been started in the branch of CivilEngineering for Environmental Engineeringspecialization. First batch of students completed theB.Tech course in the year 2013 and secured more than 65% full pass and has come inthe 12th position among all the Engineering colleges under Calicut University. 

Technical Associations: 

Student Professional Associations have been formed discipline wise, for the branches ECE, Civil, BMand CS/IT. It is a platform for the students to showcase their technical creativity. Technical Experts in various disciplines have been invited for delivering classes. An Inter collegiate technical fest, ’PRAVAH’ was a highly appreciated event conducted in 2014, wherein, creative technical skills of the students could be brought to light.
