Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for the course in Government Engineering College are through entrance exam conducted by the college.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is approximately INR 8,500 but the total fees including exam fee are over INR 20,000. There are several scholarships are available such as MCM, KPCR. Loan options are available 

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM. The faculty assigns  mini projects and one main project. The quality and method of teaching are excellent. Exams and assignments are held twice in each semester. The overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facilities are available. There is one hostel for girls with an accommodating capacity of 200 people. The hostel fee is INR 2,500 per month. Hostel facilities are not available for boys. Infrastructure is average.

Clubs & Associations : There is a lot of student societies such as National service scheme, political parties, entrepreneurship clubs, different organizations. The main festivals like arts fest, technical fest are conducted by the college. Life in college is great.
