Thejus Engineering College Admissions

Admissions are based on merit for both Government and Management quotas, in accordance with the latest guidelines from the Government of Kerala, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and AICTE. Details for Management Quota admissions are available on the college website, while Government Quota information can be found on the CEE portals. 

B.Tech Admissions:- 

Government Quota: 50% of seats are allocated by the CEE based on entrance exam ranks, following government rules for merit and reservations. 

Management Quota: 35% of seats are filled by the college based on qualifying exam marks and entrance ranks, with 15% reserved for NRIs, who are exempt from KEAM. Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can join directly in the second year. DTE fills 50% of these seats, while the college manages the rest. 

M.Tech Admissions:- 

Government Quota: DTE allocates seats based on GATE scores or qualifying exam marks, ensuring compliance with reservation norms. 

Management Quota: The college fills the remaining 50% of seats through a merit list.

 Eligibility:-

B.Tech: A minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or equivalent) is required, along with a valid KEAM rank (not mandatory for NRI candidates). 

Lateral Entry: Candidates must hold a 3-year diploma from a recognised institution. 

M.Tech: A minimum of 60% in an AICTE/UGC-approved undergraduate program is needed, with relaxations for SC/ST (pass mark) and OBC (54%). AMIE/AMIETE candidates must have 55% in Section B and a valid GATE score. 

Application Process:- 

Candidates can apply online via the college website, and pay Rs. 500 for the prospectus, and submit all required documents before the deadline. Regular website visits are recommended for updates. 

Admission and Cancellation:- 

Selected candidates must complete the admission process, including fee payment, within the specified timeframe. Cancellations after the closing date are governed by government policies. Providing false information will result in disqualification.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining the Thejus Engineering College is clearing the 12th and KEAM exam. The cut-off is 40% in PCM and marks scored in KEAM.
