1. For Tamil Nadu Candidates, the applicants must have passed an education of 10+2 from any recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with the percentage as 50% (For general candidates), 45% (For the backward class), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (For SC/ ST/ SCA) candidates.
2. For other state candidates, the applicants must have passed an education of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with a 45% aggregate.
3. For NRI and FN candidates, a pass in the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with a 45% aggregate.
4. For Lateral Entry (Second Year) admission, the candidate must have passed the Diploma with at least 45% (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering.
