Infrastructure Facilities at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, [MRSPTU] Bathinda:

Medical Facilities

• The University is equipped with an OPD with 6 beds and is headed by qualified doctor and support staff
• Medicines are prescribed and are given free of cost to students 
• An ambulance remains on standby to shift any emergency cases to the nearest hospital

Hostel

• There is a separate hostel for boys and girls
• In total, there are 5 hostels with 4 allocated to boys and 1 for girls
• Total number of inmates in the hostel touches 1000

Transportation Facilities:

• There are two buses used for picking and dropping students 
• Same buses are used for educational and industrial tours

Sports Facilities:

• The University encourages students to take up sports to lessen the pressure of academics
• It has well-equipped sports facilities with sports coaches helping students to perfect their technique
• Cricket, basketball, football, hockey table tennis, badminton, and tennis are played by students
• Time to time students have taken part in intercollegiate tournaments to bring honor to the University

Post Office

• The Post Office is located within the campus for the convenience of students

Guest House

• There is a guest house for the benefit of individuals visiting the university 

Central Library

• The library is well stocked with 54,166 volumes of reference and textbooks related to engineering and associated subjects
• It subscribes to 65+ technical journals and magazines, in addition, there are several newspapers available
• The library has subscribed to online databases like IEEE, Elsevier (Science Direct), ASCE, ASME, Pearson e-Books
• It is equipped with an independent reading hall and also has a separate periodical section

Computer Center

• Computer center manages and administers networking of computers for the entire campus
• It maintains the mainframe computer and other digital databases
• The computer center is headed by the director and other support staff
• It is responsible for the maintenance of the University website 

Workshops

• There are workshops at the University catering to various Engineering departments
• These include machine shop, sheet metal shop, fitting shop, welding shop to name a few
