MDI Gurgaon admission 2025 to PGDM courses is offered through CAT. The last date to register for the CAT 2024 exam was September 20, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 24, 2024, and CAT 2024 results are expected to be announced in December 2024.

MDI Gurgaon offers admissions to 2-year PGDM courses across multiple specialisations. The MDI Gurgaon selection criteria for the PGDM course are based on the weightage of the CAT score, personal interview, academic merit, academic diversity, work experience, and social diversity. NRI applicants may apply on the basis of their valid GMAT scores.

Along with this, MDI Gurgaon also offers admissions to Executive PGDM and FPM courses. MDI Gurgaon EPGDM admissions are offered across 3 specialistaions. This course is designed especially for working professionals.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM Admission 2025

MDI Gurgaon PGDM admission 2025 is provided across 5 specialisations: PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM (Business Analytics) and PGDM (Online). This is a 2-year course. Students seeking MDI Gurgaon PGDM admissions must have appeared for and scored valid marks in CAT.

MDI Gurgaon MBA Eligibility Criteria

• At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum 3 years duration for PGDM, PGDM-HRM & PGDM-Business Analytics (Minimum 4 years duration for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the AICTE/AIU/ Ministry of HRD, Government of India. 
• Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.
• Applicants to the PGDM-IB programme must possess a minimum of 1 year (one year) of work experience after completion of a minimum 4 years Bachelor’s degree for the programme. 
• Candidates with 3 years bachelor's degree are not eligible for the PGDM-IB Programme.

MDI Gurgaon PGDM Selection Criteria

For MDI Gurgaon PGDM admission 2025, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. They must also have a valid CAT score to get shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round. The detailed steps for MDI Gurgaon PGDM Admissions is given below:

Step 1: Register and appear for the CAT examination

Students seeking MDI Gurgaon PGDM Admissions have to register by filling out the application form from the official website of the university. Students who meet the CAT/GMAT cutoff can only apply for PGDM admissions.

Step 2: Shortlisting for Group Discussion and WAT

Initial shortlisting of candidates for the Group discussion will be done based on the Minimum CAT scores of the interested candidates. Candidates are called in for a round of group discussion. Candidates are then further shortlisted for a round of Written Aptitude Tests.

Step 3: Shortlisting for PI

After the GD and WAT rounds, another list of shortlisted candidates is released for a final round of Personal Interviews. MDI Gurgaon Personal Interviews are held between February and April 2025 at a centre in one of the following cities: Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Centres other than Gurugram are tentative. 

Step 4: Final Admission

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the weights of CAT-2024 scores, WAT-GD-PI, Academic merit, Academic diversity, Work experience, social diversity etc. MDI Gurgaon does not offer admission under any type of quota. After all the rounds, a merit list of selected students is released by the institute.

Note: MDI uses CAT scores for Indian Candidates for shortlisting the candidates for its programmes. Indian candidates can not apply on the basis of their GMAT score. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in conducting the programme.

MDI Gurgaon EPGDM Admission 2025

MDI Gurgaon admission is offered to a three to four-year FPM program. An MDI Gurgaon FPM (Residential) student gets a monthly stipend of INR 60,000. Students also get a total contingency grant of INR 80,000 and a conference grant of INR 2,50,000 to support their fieldwork, book purchases, research paper presentations, etc.

MDI Gurgaon EPGDM course is offered in 3 specializations: Business Management, Public Policy & Management and Business Administration

MDI Gurgaon PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
• The Applicants must have a minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification executive work experience.

Foreign/NRI/PIO Applicants Eligibility

• Foreign/NRI/PIO applicants can be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores. Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates. 
• GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the status of applicants.

MDI Gurgaon EPGDM Selection Criteria

1. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out the online application form.
2. Shortlisting of Applicants for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT, GMAT or XAT scores. 
3. The Applicants shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT/XAT scores will be called for Personal Interview.
4. Shortlisted Applicants will be called at a centre in one of the following cities: Gurugram, Bangalore & Mumbai (Bangalore and Mumbai centres are tentative). 
5. The selection process may also be conducted online through Zoom for which the intimation will be given to the short-listed applicants in advance.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Eligibility Criteria

• A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division) or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2).
• Five-year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2).
• A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA along with Master’s degree with 60% (with first division).
• For FPM (Non-Residential), a minimum age of 35 years and a minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience, preferably at senior level, is required as of the last date of application.
• For FPM (Residential), those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply.
• The maximum age limit to apply for the FPM Residential Programme is 50 Years.
• Candidates with gender diversity, PWD (person with a disability), EWS (Economically weaker section), or rural-urban diversity are encouraged to apply for the FPM programme.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Selection Criteria

1. Candidates seeking admission must meet the eligible criteria.
2. Candidates should also have a valid score in CAT/ GMAT/GRE/ UGC-JRF/GATE.
3. Candidates with valid scores in any of these entrance exams are shortlisted for the next round.
4. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview either online or offline.
5. After the interview, a final list of shortlisted candidates for admission is released.
