We have a prolific and proactive placement cell to impart field training to the students and establish interface with industry for the placement of final year students of entire college. The cell works in the coordination with the students giving them requisite direction, resources and grooms them to secure their industrial training and dreams jobs. To address the demand of modern education, prominent academicians and industrialist constantly enlighten the students through guest lecture in the changing economic scenario burgeoning demand for professionals, the college is constantly striving to assimilate the needs of industry and the students. The placement cell addresses a wide range of career concerns of the students and has been involved in the coordination and administration of various carrier planning and Training & placement programs and offers important and timely career planning assistance and also facilitates the jobs search offers for the students. The placement cell team make consistent of efforts to contact different corporate houses to attract them for both on campus and off campus interviews of the students.

A separate Training & Placement wing exists for outgoing students for placements and higher studies, along with soft skills Training & Entrepreneur development training. A Full fledged Training & Placement Cell headed by Placement officer by Coordinators from each department. He lays lot of importance on soft skills in students. He also conduct training Programs generally deals with all the aspects of soft skills required by any individual to face an interview process. Placement Committee is an integral part of the institute, seeks to identify the right student for the opportunity provided by a prospective employer. The Placement Team identifies potential recruiters, interacts with selected companies and coordinates the visit of such corporate executives to the campus. An effective way of creating awareness about companies among students is to provide information. The information could be in the form of company brochures, pamphlets and other published information. The Placement Office ensures distribution of published material among students. At Mata Gujri College, Sri Fatehgarh sahib various events, guest speaker panels, conferences, workshops and academic fairs are organized in which companies participate directly or contribute through partnerships.

Placement talks are arranged and facilities are provided for Campus interviews. Students have been successful in getting placements with over 65% every year in various Companies. Many students of the previous batches have been placed with good packages.
