AUDITORIUM

auditorium at M.I.E.T. can seat 1000 people and comes with central air-conditioning. It has number of modern equipment such as multimedia projector and sound system. Spacious and with adjoining verandas and lobbies this auditorium is the perfect setting for conferences and exhibitions. Additionally there is a secondary smaller auditorium which is capable of seating 300, and is often used to conduct meetings, symposiums and seminars. In order to accommodate all our students and the needs of different departments, we also have a number of other smaller seminar halls.

BANK FACILITIES

A nationalized Indian bank is functioning within the campus and helps the students and employees in all banking activities.

Indian bank: Institute employees have their salaries credited to the Indian Bank. Indian Bank ATMs has located in the bank premises.

CANTEEN

A well furnished canteen is being run for the benefit of all in the campus for their catering. The Campus Cafe is open from 8.30 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. on all working days. It serves eatables and beverages at nominal rates. It maintains a commendable degree of hygiene.

LIBRARY

• A Library is the life blood of an academic institution and fully automated modern Library is on its way to become an outstanding learning resource centre catering to the ever growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, the faculties and researchers. MIET Engineering College library is housed in C Block building on 800 Sqm area. It has a comprehensive collection of literature predominantly related to Engineering and its allied subjects to meet the present and future information needs of its users.

• The library has a total collection of more than 39,065 volumes of books with 15,183 titles relating to various engineering disciplines and science & humanities. The books are classified according to DDC scheme of library classification 21st edition. The library is adding latest engineering books regularly.

• Library having huge collection of reference books such as ASM Handbook 26 Volumes, Mcgraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology 20 Volumes, Encyclopedia Britannica 32 Volumes, World of Science 24 Volumes and other rare books available for ready reference.

SPORTS

At M.I.E.T. well designed and well stocked sports annexes and encourage students to take advantage of it and take an active interest in sporting activities.sports annexes include fields for activities like cricket and foot ball. Tennis and volley ball courts are also included along with space for athletics.indoor stadium can be used for sports such as basketball, Table Tennis and many more. There is a Physical Director at hand to oversee and provide directions while separate space is available for girls and boys.

TRANSPORT

The Management is providing transport facility for our students at competitive rates. The college transport department provides punctual service, besides ensuring safety and security to the students. More than 35 college buses helps the students & staff to commute to the college from various places especially all remote areas.
