Mother Teresa Women's University, [MTWU] was established in the year 1984 under the name of legendry Noble Laureate for peace, Mother Teresa. It is the only Women’s University of Tamil Nadu State Government. Apart from Chennai, it has centres at Kodaikanal, Coimbatore, Dindigul and Madurai. The university offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programs in Arts and Science discipline. The courses are available in Distance Learning mode as well to ensure maximum percentage o women education. The university conducts several research projects funded by well-recognised organisations such as MHRD, UGC and ICSSR. The university was recently accredited with Grade ‘A’ status by NAAC.

Mother Teresa Women's University Chennai Admission

The admission of various postgraduate, doctoral and diploma courses at MTWU is done on a merit and entrance basis. The interested candidates can either fill the application form online or offline after paying a certain fee. While applying online, candidates must ensure that they keep a scanned pdf of the payment receipt to fill the final application form. The university conducts an entrance examination for its DDE courses.
