Infrastructure facilities at National College, [NCT] Tiruchirappalli:

Data Processing and Computer Labs:

• National College has five computer laboratories in the campus.
• These labs contain a total of 400 systems which provides the academical information to the students.
• All the computers are connected to the strong internet.

Cafeteria:

• NCT has a cafeteria in the campus.
• This cafeteria opens at 8:00 am and closes at 3:30 pm.
• Students can get delicious and healthy food in the cafeteria.

Sports and Fitness:

• National College has playgrounds in the campus.
• The college has a football and cricket playground and the college also has an athletic track on the ground.

Indoor Stadium:

• NCT has an indoor stadium in the campus.
• This stadium provides facilities for table tennis, shuttle badminton, volleyball, kho kho and many other indoor games.

Gymnasium:

• National College provides the gymnasium for students to keep their health in the track.

Auditorium and Halls:

• National College has an air-conditioned Auditorium.
• This auditorium is named as Dr. V. Krishnamurthy Auditorium.
• The Krishnamurthy Auditorium can accommodate up to 450 students.
• The college also has three seminar halls.
• In which one is air-conditioned named as Sri Santhanam a/c Hall.
• Sri Santhanam a/c Hall has a seating capacity of up to 150 students.
• This seminar hall is attached to the Department of Chemistry.

Stationery Store and Photocopier: 

• NCT provides the stationery store for the students and staff.
• Students can get all the necessary things in this stationery store.
• College provides the Xeroxing machine facility for the students for the purpose of the photocopy.

Free Medical Centre:

• National College Medical Centre in the campus.
• This medical centre provides free service to the students and faculty members.
• Medical Centre has Dr. S. Madhan Kumar who is an M.B.B.S graduate as a doctor consults in the medical centre.
• The doctor is available in the centre every Monday and Friday of the week.

Hostels:

• NCT provides separate hostel facilities to the both boys and girls' students.
• The hostels have a mess and dining hall attached to the hostel.
• These hostel messes provide hygienic and healthy food to the students.
• The boys' hostel was established in 1960 with the seating capacity of 460 students.
• Girls hostel was started in 2011 with the seating capacity of 360 students.
• College hostel facilities provide the television, indoor and outdoor games for the students.

Library:

• National College library has a vigorous and long history.
• Initially, it came into existence with just 470 books in the year 1919.
• At present, the NCT library has a wide collection of books on a broad range of subjects.
• The library has large collection of around 1,00,000 titles including very rare texts is the pride of college.
• The library has around 150 national as well as international journals in its bookshelf.
• This library opens at 6:00 am and closes at 8:00 pm on all the working days of the college.
• National College initiated the library automation program in 2010.
• The library also has common sections such as stacks, reference, circulation, periodicals, technical section thesis and dissertation.
• This library also has a large audio-visual theatre, spacious conference hall, E-library.
• NCT library has Acquisition and Technical Section which takes care of the systematic collection of requirements from the departments, ordering books, accessioning, classification, indexing and processing of books.
• This section also develops the bibliographic database of books and other resources.
• The library has another section called as Circulation Section and this section takes the responsibility of registration of memberships, issue of barcoded ID cards, issue and receipt of books, collection of dues, and no dues certification.
• This circulation process is fully automated with barcode technology and web-enabled OPAC. 
• National College library has a Reference Section that contains references like dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks, gazetteers, handbooks, manuals and many more.
• The reference section also contains subject referral books, competitive exams books and career development and personality development books.
• It also contains a separate collection of research-oriented books and civil service examination books.
• The library has a Periodical Section which maintains almost 105 subscribed periodicals.
• In this subscribed periodicals, 100 are national and 5 are international periodicals.
• Thesis Section of the library has a collection of 1500 thesis that is organized and made available to the research scholars.
• The stack room of the college is located at the ground floor facilities safe custody of valuable books.
• This stack is systematically arranged with the help of the newest edition of Dewey classification for easy retrieval.
