The National Institute of Science and Technology is situated on the green hills of Palur. It is spread over 60 acres of land. This campus is fully wi-fi enabled with landscaped gardens, aquariums, parks, and fountains. The institution is not only known for offering excellent academic services but also is a well-known brand in offering state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities to students.

Transport Service
- NIST has its full-fledged transport service with 18 Buses and around 48 staff members working in the transport section.
- NIST provides bus services for students and staff from Berhampur, Gopalpur, hostels, and other nearby areas round the clock and at regular intervals.
On-Campus Medical Facility
- 24-hour medical services are provided on campus with the help of a well-equipped dispensary.
- Medical assistance is given by well-experienced doctors around the clock.
- The dispensary has its own ambulance facility to handle emergency cases.
- NIST has a dedicated ambulance service to take care of any serious cases that may arise on campus.
- Two ambulances have independent drivers who work on a shift basis to take care of the students whenever the need arises.
Lecture Hall Complex
- It is a five-floored building. This building is over 60000 sqft.
- It is built with all modern amenities and houses many classrooms, electronics, machines, and computer science laboratories. It also houses the server room and administrative section.
Hostel
- This institute has a 600-seated in-campus boys hostel. It also has an on-campus girls hostel that houses about 500 students.
- NIST, Odisha also has 800 seater hostels outside the campus.
