What's New in NIT Agartala

JoSAA counselling 2024 is ongoing. Round 3 seat allotment result along with the NIT Agartala JoSAA round 3 cutoff will be released on July 4, 2024.

NIT Agartala offers UG and PG programs. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, GATE, NATA, CAT, IIT JAM and NIMCET. Students must meet the cutoff criteria and secure good marks in the entrance exams to seek NIT Agartala admission.

Candidates applying for the courses at NIT Agartala must produce a valid exam scorecard and appear in the counselling process (JoSAA, CSAB, CCMT, COAP) to secure their admission to the desired course. The NITA cutoff details of B.Tech based on JEE Main are given below for 2023, 2022 and 2021.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are regular and quality is good enough. Modern teaching methods are used. Its a mix of good and bad experience.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission by qualifying the Jee mains. I clear the Jee Advanced cutoff.

Placements & Internships : There are companies like maruti suzuki, IBM, Indian oil and many more which comes to the college and average salary is about 7-8 lakhs per annum.

Fees & Scholarships : 1st year it was 77,000 and in 2nd year is 25,000. Ishan Uday and such reserved scholarships are available. Around 200-300 students got scholarships.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are about 10-12 buildings in the hostel. The food is not that good. The cost is reliable. Classrooms are good, labs need to improve, the library has to improve, dining halls are good.

Clubs & Associations : Photography, fine arts, and sports clubs are present. Two fests in a year are organized along with many programs. Life is good in college.

Academics & Faculty : Class Timings:9:30-5:30 Quality of Teaching is good,but more you have to study yourself. Overall experience is too good, infrastructure is best.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to appear for NIMCET Entrance test,common for all NIT's. You must have 55% in 10,12 and Graduation. The one who has rank upto: Upto 600-General Upto 900-OBC Upto 2000-SC/ST

Placements & Internships : No stipend for MCA Students. Companies Hiring are Amazon,Polaris,Virtusa,IBM,Amdox,Infosys,Wipro,etc. Average Salary Package-INR 5lakh p.a. Alumni Details are given in Broture itself of NIT Agartala.

Fees & Scholarships : Course Fee:INR 80,000PA +INR 40,000 mess if opted Scholarship for OBC Minorities only -NSP Yes Loan is needed for Poor and average families. Loan can be easily availed through any Bank.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 7 hostels. Hostel fee-INR 2500 per 6 months No PG's nearby college Food is ok Classrooms are best and Wifi is 24X7 working

Clubs & Associations : Gymkhana is the society of students. Advaitam Fest is main festival. Life in college is so nice and greenery everywhere.

Academics & Faculty : Very busy routine generally, a large no. Of assignments and projects. Satisfied with quality. There is a lot of improvement required.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 12 appearing or passed, JEE MAIN qualified 81 gen 52 OBC the students can be applied only 3 times.

Placements & Internships : Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Mahindra etc INR.6.lk as is the avg and highest is INR.35 lacs per annum Approx 80%placed every year The alumni are very helpful to us.

Fees & Scholarships : Approx INR.80,000 Economically backward students get full remission fee. Approx 70 % students used it as per their family income. Yes, SBI is a better option

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Total4 hostels, very good hostels Fee is very less INR.2500 per sem. Ya the local our home state have this facility. Satisfied, INR.40 per head Classroom and labs are good, dining halls are large, good wifi facility.

Academics & Faculty : daily routine is from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm method of teaching is good and teachers are friendly enough overall experience was nice

Entrance Exams & Admissions : the eligibility criteria were the person should pass 12th class with 75% aggregate on PCM on 2017 or before. the entrance examination is JEE MAIN to get entry into NIT AGARTALA.

Placements & Internships : companies like VEDANTA, ORACLE, L&T, BPCL were the top recruiters in 2017 Average salary is INR 4.5 LPA, highest salary is INR 21 LPA, in computer science branch there is 100 percent placement Alumni network is strong and keeps good contact with the current students.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee for B.Tech degree is Rs 1,40,000 per annum at National Institute of Technology, Agartala. The scholarship will get based on the family's income and merit score in the qualifying exam.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : food in the college is good. we have a separate south canteen for the south students. wifi is good and even infrastructure Hostels are there for the outsiders and even construction is in process

Clubs & Associations : there are various clubs like robotics club, ecell, sae baja, aviation club and many others our major event is our college fest ADVAITAM. life in college is awesome !!
