Placements & Internships : I am a first-year student but as a response from seniors the training and placement department of this institute is good and hardworking. Mostly IT companies offers a job at National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Nagaland. But PSU companies are also coming on a campus. Latest hiring is from- CCAPGEMINI WIPRO, INFOSYS, POLARIS, HPCL, BPCL, INDIAN ARMY etc. If you are good you could easily get job of Rs. 6 - 7 lakhs pa. But average salary is Rs. 4.5 lakhs pa. Seniors of this institute are very co-operative and their are very less alumni from this institute but then also they are helpful.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To take admission in NIT NAGALAND you had to clear class 12 exam and then get a decent rank in JEE MAINS. It is important that you score well to get admission. Typically your rank should be between 28-35 k to get admission in NIT NAGALAND.

Fees & Scholarships : Per year fees are Rs. 2 lakhs per annum in National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Nagaland but government fee waiver scheme is applicable. There is a scholarship facility available in the college. Since it is a NIT so you could easily get scholarship and loan from various companies and banks.

You would be given an assignment, from time to time and there would be regular exams. Teaching quality is above average as most of the faculties are helpful but self-study is most important. Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are a sufficient number of hostels in National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Nagaland, girls are having separate hostels. It is mandatory to live in the hostel in college. Good quality of this NIT is average and you might get bored after some time. Lab facility is very nice, libraries are good, Wi-Fi speed is awesome and you will never feel bored.

Clubs & Associations : There are clubs like a technical club, literary club, sports club, photography club etc in National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Nagaland. They all organize events and competition time to time. 100% guarantee that you will remain busy with these events. The annual technical fest EKARITHIN is Fabulous. It's the best time in spending in college.
