The average salary figures range between INR 12-15 Lakhs per annum. The PCC also handles the internships for the students, though they have the option to apply for an internship in their personal capacity.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
National Law Institute University is the second oldest National Law University in the country, established in the year 1997. It admits around 125 students for its BA.LLB (Hons.) course.
Admissions are done through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), conducted by the CLAT Consortium every year. CLAT is a written exam and has an MCQ based format, with 200 questions to be answered in 2 hours.
The general cut off varies every year depending upon the effective score of exam-takers, however, the general rank- cut off for NLIU Bhopal stays around AIR 450.
Fees & Scholarships :

Academics & Faculty :
The university has shifted from a trimester system to a semester system from the academic year 2020-21. Students are supposed to cover 4-5 classes every day, make 4-5 projects each semester, and have to undergo vivas for each project made. The entire course structure has been revamped from 2020.
The university has a host of reputed professors and has a practical learning pedagogy, which is a mix of clinical courses with regular subjects. Students are free to do internships as per their convenience and there is no policy of compulsory internship.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college has a picturesque campus situated on a hillock. It's almost 8 km outside the main city. It has a total of 4 hostels, 2 each for boys and girls. The first years are accommodated in a twin sharing room, and single rooms are allotted from 2nd or 3rd year onwards, depending upon availability.
Hostel and mess charges can be paid either semesterly or annually. The college has a well-equipped library, computer lab, sports complex, one auditorium, 1 convention center, and 2 academic blocks. The campus is spread over a total of approximately 47 acres with abundant greenery.
Clubs & Associations :
Student activities are largely governed by student cells in the University. The college has different cells for cultural activities, sports activities, mooting, debating, legal aid activities, and so on.
The main events at the college are 'Virudhaka' - the annual sports fest, 'MP04' - the annual cultural fest. Apart from these, the college organized various intra-university events like Palchina d Rangmanch - which are also cultural fests, Dandiya night, and Halloween among others.
Life at NLIU is hectic yet rewarding. The college has one or the other student activity going on throughout the year.
