Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB {Hons.}, BBA LLB

Both the courses have common Eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).
  • Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

The NLUJ offers BA LLB{Hons.} with the following divisions in this course:

  • Economics
  • Political Science
  • Sociology
  • History
  • Psychology

The NLUJ offers BBA LLB with the following divisions in this course:

  • Mathematics and Statistics
  • Basic Management Courses
  • Finance
  • Marketing and
  • Human Resources

Eligibility Criteria for LLM

For admissions into the course:

  • The candidate should have a Three or Five years LL.B Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates].
  • Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply.

The LL.M. program is offered in five streams:

  • Corporate Laws
  • Intellectual Property Rights
  • International Trade Law
  • Banking and Finance
  • Cyber Law and Cyber Security

 

Application Process for BA LLB {Hons.}, BBA LLB, LLM

  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ can register online and obtain brochure available at the Official CLAT website.
  • After that applicant seeking admission at NLUJ have to fill the online application form and upload photograph, signature, birth certificate and category certificate.
  • Applicants can register themselves to the above-mentioned course by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 4000/- (for unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category candidates) and Rs. 3500/- (for SC/ST category candidates) either Online or through challan.
  • NRI/ foreign nationals/ NRI sponsored category applicants can register themselves to the above-mentioned courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 5000/- by DD.
  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ have to pay the application fee either by online/offline mode.
  • After paying the application fee applicants have to submit the application form for successful registration.
  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ have to submit the application form 

Documents to be enclosed at the online application process:

  1. Personal information (name, E-mail address, mobile number, date of birth, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc.) of the eligible applicant.
  2. Address for communication (including PIN code) of the eligible applicant.
  3. Essential Qualification details (Percentage of marks/CGPA, University/college information) of the eligible applicant.
  4. Programme in which the candidate wishes to appear (UG Course or PG Course)
  5. Three choices of CLAT examination cities of the eligible applicant.
  6. Front facing Passport size clear photograph of the applicant with clear lenses
  7. Signature of the eligible applicant.
  8. Scanned copy of SC/ST/SAP Certificates in pdf format only (if applicable) of the eligible applicant.
  9. Scanned copy of Domicile Category in pdf format only (if applicable) of the eligible applicant.
  10. Net banking login and password to make the application fee payment via online net banking mode.
  11. In case the payment is to be made through debit card/credit card, then the candidate is required to have the information like debit card/credit card number, password, CVV number etc.

 

Admission Process for BA LLB {Hons.}, BBA LLB, LLM

Selection of the of the eligible applicant seeking admission will be based on the rank in the merit list of CLAT examination conducted by the university.

Reservation is done as follows:

  • 30% seats are reserved for eligible female applicants seeking admission to B.A, L.L.B (Hons) course.
  • 15 seats are reserved for eligible foreign national candidates seeking admission.
