December 21,2024

  • The CLAT 2025 counselling registration has been closed, and the last date was December 20, 2024. The candidates whose names are on the CLAT Invite List can participate in the counselling process. The first merit list will be published on December 26, 2024. The admissions in NLUs and other colleges will be finalized after five rounds of online counselling at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

December 19,2024

  • CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration closes on December 20, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for CLAT and are on the invitation list can register online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The first merit list is expected to be released on December 26, 2024. The process includes seat allotment in multiple rounds, and the final result is expected by May 28, 2025.

December 11,2024

  • CLAT 2025 counseling has begun, and candidates are being guided through the process of registration, fee payment, and seat allocation for top NLUs and some non-NLUs. Candidates have to complete the process within the deadlines. The admission procedure includes document verification and seat acceptance. Counseling is aimed at securing placements in premier law institutions, and detailed updates are given to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
    Eligibility Criteria:

B.B.A-L.L.B{Hons}
The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognised Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).
Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.
L.L.M
The candidate should have a Three or Five years LL.B Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognised by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates].
Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply.
B.B.A-L.L.B
The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognised Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).
Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Admission Procedure:

  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ can register online and obtain brochure available at the Official CLAT website.
  • After that applicant seeking admission at NLUJ have to fill the online application form and upload photograph, signature, birth certificate and category certificate.
  • Applicants can register themselves to the above-mentioned course by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 4000/- (for unreserved/ OBC/ SAP category candidates) and Rs. 3500/- (for SC/ST category candidates) either Online or through challan.
  • NRI/ foreign nationals/ NRI sponsored category applicants can register themselves to the above-mentioned courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 5000/- by DD.
  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ have to pay the application fee either by online/offline mode.
  • After paying the application fee applicants have to submit the application form for successful registration.
  • Applicants seeking admission at NLUJ have to submit the application form

The cutoff for various courses at National Law University are not predetermined. It is determined after considering a number of factors. The criteria to determine the cutoffs are:

  • The number of applications received for a particular course.
  • The number of seats available.
  • The difficulty of the entrance test.
  • The performance of the candidates in the entrance test.
  • The cut off may also be sectional

 

For Boys:

  • Every student has been allotted individual rooms with adequate space for a cupboard and a table-chair with an attached balcony.
  • The students are allowed to keep a cooler as per their convenience.
  • Apart from these, a student can avail the facility of getting his room cleaned daily if need be.
  • The toilets and bathrooms are shared in the Hostels, with one compound for the same on every floor.
  • Moreover, a water cooler has been placed in the pantry of every floor except the ground floor and the top floor.
  • A Laundry woman regularly visits the hostels.
  • Nonetheless, the students have also been allowed to purchase and operate a washing machine on each floor.

For Girls:

  • All the facilities mentioned for boys extend to the girls’ hostel as well.
  • Their compound is built separately from the Boys Hostel; with a specific entry gate to ensure their safety and well-being. Both hostels have sufficient proximity with the mess.
